You clearly need further research on this unit too because you're pretty off mark. The fact that you didn't even mention the fact that Super Break stacks and that she'll completely eliminate the need for a sustainer on a Firefly team even in casual set-ups is wild to me.

@@rayblitz3896 If you don't have Ruan Mei then it depends. If you plan on using a rememberance team then Fugue is probably a must since she'll need to replace Harmony MC on your Firefly team for stuff like MoC and APoc whenever you use Rememberance MC. If you don't care about rememberance teams then Ruan Mei would be a better pick up since she's still arguable the best value unit in the game because you can basically slap her on every team and even if Fugue turns out to be better on a Firefly team specifically I doubt it will be much better than Ruan Mei.

Left the game after not getting blade returned, farmed all content, got acheron, her LC, loucha (10 pulls) and aventurine. Have lost every 50/50 ever since.

HMC is all well and good, but you can only use one MC at any given game mode, so I kinda feel that FUG-chan was made to free MC to be used as RMC.

Not terrible for a break team support, but if you are not using Rappa or Firefly then she is not the best. If you like the design and have Rappa or Firefly I don’t think she’d be a mistake. I like the vibe and design of the character, but now I’m questioning. If I had firefly I probably would, but I only have Rappa. I’m F2P so I can’t pull both.

I think with rappa fugue will be great, helps get breaks faster since Rappa is weaker than FF due to enemy typing

Brother..Boothill got the most benefit with Fugue more than Rappa and Firefly too by a lot. Firefly is the least benefit coming from Fugue , in fact HMC is far more better than Fugue in a Firefly team unless you dont plan to use Ruan Mei.

you can get double superbreak from using both fugue and hmc cause they count as separate instances. so technically triple super break if you use rappa or firefly too.

one thing to keep in mind is Remembrance Trailblazer and the inability to use both Harmony and Remembrance at the same time so if you want to have Break and Remembrance/Summon teams you will likely need Fugue as a HMC replacement unless the Remembrance Trailblazer just isn't that impactful to the summon team.

I do think Sunday will be a key to the 3.0 meta, so make sure to save enough gems to pull Sunday AND another summoner dps!!!

Considering he’s a Harmony character, he’s gonna synergize with future Summon DPS characters, and we ´ ll surely be getting an Acheron-level Summon DPS that he’s gonna be the BiS support for. Pulling for him cause I’m guarenteed and I might go for his LC cause I have no 5 star Harmony LCs and all of my Harmony have their best 4 star options..

In my opinion hes actually very versatile, as the part of his skill that gives the summon support is quite neglectable, and the rest of his kit is just dmg% energy and crit

One could say that he is that unit whose true value shall shine with future meta, but here is a thing... It's precisely because he is like RM/Robin in that regard, I would rather grab him now, when competing banners up to him don't even tickle my interest in the slightest, then be forced to grab him on rerun where he might be back-to-back with someone I want (see RM/Robin skippers who wanted Firefly/Feixiao and how in the pain it was for them to get two banners in the same row). Yea, I'd rather not be in these shoes. Plus, the sky will sooner fall down than have me skip the harmony. Even if said harmony was to heal the enemy, I'll trust them on sole account of being harmony.

i disagree with you when you said "niche" he the complete opposite, his skill being free every 2 turns and his energy regen on his ult is way too good , he basically plays a role of a better bronya + tingyun. and his skill can advance both summon and character, so its not tied to summons only. but all of this is stil in early beta so its all just opinions that cant be proven with numbers and values, so i could be wrong if things change imo , it s like playing ruan mei outside of super break or robin outside of FUA, or sparkle outside of danIL

Same with boothill on release, I will grab him no matter what. I pull characters I like (I've got Boothill, Firefly, AND Rappa lol). I got Lingsha to pair with him. And who knows what will appear in the future. Summon meta and fate stay night collab...coincidence? I THINK NOT 😠!

3.0 if HSR skips 2.8 will have it right then and there. Not only is she a summoner, but she shall be the first of her kind for summon (servant) meta that is to come because her summon (servant) is far different from the ones game got so far. So, yea. Saying Sunday was made with JY as selling point in mind would be like saying that RM was made to be selling point for Sushang/Luka back then.

@@donewastingtime7939The thing is the current summons are also considered FuAs so you can get benefits from both Robin and Sunday simultaneously. But Servants can only benefit from having Sunday which is okay since they make it up for it by having their own skills and ult abilities

Sunday is THE Topaz/RM of 2.X versions, the mere fact he scales up Crit Damage and Pets/summons for chars implies a long term investment for those who pull, so it's rather a thing of "If you pull Sunday and the characters you may like in the future don't fit into his archetype, you're fucked."

Sunday is actually very good for Jingliu Due to his longer buff duration he solves the problem Jingliu has with Bronya (unless you have e6 Bronya). Due to Jingliu action advancing herself forward 100% when entering her enhanced state she completle gets rid of Bronyas buffs for the first turn of her enhanced state. Meaning she is essentially only buffed 50% of the time.

@@Silz42 Together with the 2 new artifact sets she will perform better. Even Sundays LC afaik as it is now is great for the Jingliu supports so she does get or is in the process of getting a needed upgrade to her team imo. Of course she wont have Feixiaos performance with that but it will be better than it has been pre 2.6.
