people overuse the word "underrated" but you're genuinely so underrated that it bothers me. I noticed your last 2 videos got a lot more views than usual though which is long overdo. You've been one of my favorite music production channels for a long time (since the hyperpop tutorials) and I love the direction your content is going in now. super educational

i like seeing the thought process like this. it feels more useful than other beat breakdown styles cus u can explain the rhythmic + melodic choices well (instead of like “then i wrote this melody” with no explanation). also feel like ur editing has been getting even better lately idk why

I really love the style you've been doing of teaching theory/arrangement/production tips in the context of talking about a particular song or genre and making something original similar to it.

I have a opinion, this is Pluggnb with a New Jazz womp bass. New jazz is basically a descending chord progression going back to the minor i, example in c minor you can do a IV - v - i or iv - v - i chord progression these two is the basic chord progression in New Jazz. Also I'm not saying he's wrong I'm just saying that I think you mixed up the two genres together, but sick beat tho🔥

As a jazz and bebop musician, its very interesting to see the construction of these songs that are similiar. I really like this kinda music, its super fun and bouncy! Also its cool to see very similar techniques.

14:21 brought a tear to my eye… A friend of mine had a Wii when it was new. Playing games with other people online was the f u t u r e , and this soundtrack captured that feeling perfectly. Not to mention the wireless controllers and tilt to steer!? Needless to say , I loved going over to his house

I’m mad that I can’t explain music theory the way you do but… everything is right EXCEPT the Rhythms of the patterns especially the drums. I can’t explain it but there’s more to it than just the chords you use. Sound selection is huge and using the “ands” of the time signature will help a lot. With the drums you just gotta listen to real new Jazz to understand the drum patterns. This is mainly just video game plugg music you created. Still mad fire tho.

Why does your song sound like that famous bolero song "SABOR A MÍ"? Did you get inspired by that song in the version of Los Panchos and Eydie Gormé?
