That's not actually a really healthy sound at all!!

So wanted a C6Z06 when i was buying my Corvette! Dont get me wrong I love (LOVE!!!!!!) my C7 z51 stingray! But that 7.0L LS7 is a beast of a motor and probably the last big displacement ICE Chevy will ever produce. That right there is reason enough to want one. But then you hear the BigBlock's chop at idle, see the huge road tattoos it can leave , and then you can take it out for a evening on the town with the wife, cause you arent totally broke cause of car payments ? Just about sums up the perfect sportscar to me ! Thats why the CORVETTE is the best bang for the buck as far as performance cars go !! Plus its a American legend and just sexy as hell ! My last three cars before my C7 were a BMW M2 , a EVO-10 and a Nissan 350Z. None of those would make me look back at it in awe like the Vette does every time i drive it. The Z was fun but lack power and quality in general. The M2 was a blast to drive , but was sketchy at times with how it would snap into oversteer unpredictably at times The EVO was quick as hell ,but I feared the what if's in it and when it happens ! Cause I knew if I wrecked it ,the crash was going to be huge and its a tin box with 4 doors. It was great at showing you the limits and well past them a bit too. But IF I had a wreck at the speeds it was able to go on the backroads around my home ?It wasn't going to be pretty !! Seeing I'd really rather not make my wife a widow, the EVO had to go !! The vette is predictable, gets lots of 👀's & 👍, and has a full frame that gives me a better sense of security. The wife loves going for drives in it too unlike the M2 or EVO with their pops bangs and whistles from their turbos and blow off valves ! Guess its true ,"There's no replacement for displacement" !! Plus as a bonus , the Top comes off the C7 for those beautiful summer days and it adds to the visceral experience hearing that roar of a 🇺🇸V8 and smelling all thst rubber you leave behind !! 😂 🏎__________________💨!!!!!

I kept my black '08 Z06 with chrome wheels until '19, when I traded it in on a white Z06 7-sp. manual. Mistake. The LS7 is the best-sounding engine ever. Now I have a '24 Z51 on order. It'll be nice to have traction.
