Congratulations y'all! Your hard brings my wife and I together, during which we laugh at the jokes and I judge Andy for putting the Beekeeper on his top 10. Seriously, though, you've made the space better than you found it.

Thank so much for filming and sharing this. I do wish people would stop talking when part of an audience. His voice sounds hoarse like he was sick or getting sick. It makes me very upset when people are rude when someone is on stage pouring their life, their history, and their energy into something night after night! Musicians aren't machines or demigods. But this is also so much fun and I'm feally trying to tune them out. I love this record and to hear it like this is very meaningful! I appreciate every atom and molecule he puts into music that is now the soundtrack for exactly half of my life at 54! Crazy thought! 💙 Thanks again!

Well, Im glad we didn’t have Gary’s problem of 30min of previews! We went to the historic Bagdad Theater in Portland and it started right on time and thanks to rain and traffic we missed the first 2-3min of the movie. Cinematically it was awesome. I’m not a huge fan of horror movies but this was better than I expected. The pacing was a little slow but I didn’t have the issues you guys had. It’s a 1 for me!

I really wish that scene would have played out just a little longer with a reaction from Gene as well, but definitely one of my favorite scenes.

2 things: #1) No offense to Bruce fans, but the last line of that chorus is cringe-worthy it sounds so flat. #2) When a different version of All I Want For Christmas comes on that is not Mariah Carey, my youngest complains that it is "off-brand". So, yeah, Mariah pretty much owns that song for better or worse...

Not a movie, but Moorehead and Benson are finishing up a script for an Endless TV show! Andy, I'm also a yiuuuge horror fan. BlackPhone is amazing! It's especially cool because it's made to be seen as a family.

I'm not a huge KISS fan, but man they had some great songs in the 80s. Because I liked their 80s music so much I went back and listened to their 70s stuff and became a casual KISS fan. Never got to see them live. Fridays was great! Michael Richards playing with his army men!😂 Lick It Up is really my first time really listening to KISS. I knew Beth and Party and Detroit. But that album was iconic because of them going on MTV without the makeup. I'd argue that Tears Are Falling is a power ballad. And Forever is an awesome song! Love that song.

Mr. Mister’s “Broken Wings” and “Run To Her” are power ballads …. “Kyrie” is an awesome song but it is not a power ballad. Richard Page sang a lot of background vocals for Rick Springfield and many others. “Welcome To The Real World” was Mr. Mister’s second album. They released four albums. Richard Page and the keyboardist Steve George were also in a prior band named Pages that released a couple of albums and were on the charts.

Richard Page sang backing vocals on the following Rick Springfield albums; Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet [1982] Living in Oz [1983] Hard to Hold [1984] Tao [1985] Rock of Life [1988] Steve Farris (Guitarist of Mr. Mister) tried out for KISS as Ace was departing. He played the guitar solo on "Creatures of the Night", was paid for that but didn't make the band. Gary, Tim Pierce played on several of these as well. Remember he's famous for the solos/ guitar parts for "Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House and "Runaway" by Bon Jovi. AND I can't believe you brought out "Don't Let It End." My favorite Styx song, pants down!

Oof. A lot of songs Im not a fan of on this one. Giuffria and Glass Tiger were NOT bands I liked! Haha. Dokken was fantastic and Slippin Away is so mega cheesy its great! And yes, Total Eclipse is so big it deserves a half episode on it’s own! Alan is so wrong, Hair Nation plays Call and I turn it off every time!
@OrionF2 ай бұрын
I’ll also disagree that Eternal Flame is a Power ballad. Ballad, yes, power not even close.
@AlphaAstraAqua2 ай бұрын
Glass Tiger has a really heartfelt ballad on their 1988 second album Diamond Sun titled “A Lifetime of Moments”. Their third album had a good ballad “Rescued (By The Arms Of Love)”.
@AlphaAstraAqua2 ай бұрын
“Call To The Heart” is an amazing song. The other single from that album was “Lonely In Love” which got a lot of airplay on MTV and charted somewhere in the fifties on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second album features an incredible ballad “Love You Forever” (the second single) which they mimed on American Bandstand. “I Must Be Dreaming” was the first single from the album.

Also. The house was an iteration of Dantes inferno, which is an iteration of Greek labyrinths. The whole movie was like a quadruple entendre.

There are a lot of levels to the film, but I found it very reductive. Everyone attached to the film deserves a round of applause for their work, though, and also for their commitment to originality.

@tummytwins you really need to discuss ballads vs. power ballads. For instance, When The Children Cry by White Lion is a straight up ballad. Sister Christian by Night Ranger is a power ballad!!

Bad English would be a great reunion tour. It works well with John Waite and Deen Castronovo, along with Neal Schon. Saw John Waite solo several times and it is always a great sounding show. Great drop in on the Hooters, as they were very underrated.

“What Does It Take” is one of the great songs of the eighties!!!!! Also check out their ballads “Still Lovin’ You” (from 1989’s The Singles) and “It’s Over Now” from 1988’s Racing After Midnight.
