Talk about a barebones phone, it doesn't even have a camera. That's cool! People forget that phones like that still exist and were like that at one point in time over 10 years ago.

Does ST charge you overage fees if you go over 1000 minutes or does the phone just do you get a recording to insert another card for 1000 more minutes or an unlimited one?

I have had T-Mobile, MetroPCS and Verizon and Verizon is king. I am on their native prepaid plan on Verizon.

ST also uses Verizon. that's the service I am on. I would not even think about being on the AT&T network. BTW ST also has the sprint network as well. It all depends on what phone you get and what service works best in your area.

Forgot to mention ST is on the AT&T network so it's exactly the same. Everything works on the iPhone. Voice, Text and Data all work fine. Just make sure you change your APN settings to ST and you won't have any problems. Oh and voicemail is a little different. You don't see a list for voicemail. You just listen to the most recent one and the save or delete. You also don't get a voicemail alert notification like with AT&T. It only shows a missed call instead of a voicemail alert symbol. i dont understand how they can get away with selling service on networks that dont work.

It depends what phone you get. Because some phones use AT@T and others use Sprint networks. Those I will agree with you they will drop calls but if you get a phone that works on the Verizon network then you won't have that problem. Straight Talk it's self is not to blame since they just rent to rights to use these different networks. I would say try a phone that works on Verizon.

straight talk is the worse service you can get,, every body can talk to you phone and theres is nothing you can do to stop bullies and sickos from calling your phone thers no call block all you can do is change your number up to 4 times so is no recomended for bussisnes nor you kids ,so please dont make a mistake buying straight talk !!!!!!!!!!

Straight talk doesn't have a clue what unlimited means... would pay for service plan few days later internet was turned off not to return till just before service was to expire.... after months of arguments with St moved on to real cellphone service... little more expensive but a lot less bs

Thanks for the comment. If you get the verizon plan there are very few dropped calls. However I have geard from lots of people that if you get a phone that is not verizon then they get plenty of dropped calls. I have had this same phone for about 2 years now and I think I might have had 2 dropped calls at the most in that time. Yes I am very happy with ST.

I paid for unlimited service I use it to surf the web and watch youtube videos got a call from them today saying that I'm using too much data and if I continue they will cancel my service. what I have an unlimited plan. to that they up on me. I called back and was told I was hung up on because I was cussing them out. not true. my advice is to skip straight talk all together
