That was awesome. The stormruler has a weapon art that pretty much trivializes the fight if you charge it but I'm happy to see someone find his other weakness (his arms)

You have to charge the Storm Ruler to properly use the L2/ weapon art. But hey, an axe works.

you were supposed to use the charged ability on storm ruler which completely shreds him but i guess its too late now. Made the same mistake my first time and now i have ptsd that shows up when fighting fire giant.

after playing over 400 hours in elden ring (300 on first playthrough on xbox one, 100 plus on another playthrough on ps5) i wanted to go back to ds3. surprisingly im finding it a lot easier lol. guess my elden ring experience really helped. not sure if ill do all bosses or the dlc because some were freaking hard and they didn’t really provide rewards i needed

In the area you said a boss should have been in is another area to fight the beast from the bridge if you run passed it and skip it there.

Once again I learned something new about Dark Souls 3, this time about damage to Yhorm based on where you hit him (I guess? may need to confirm), but bro you were so close to reaching the understanding...if only you had read the weapon description of Storm Ruler. Still, props where it is deserved, I think maybe only 10% of all Dark Souls 3 players if not less has ever killed Yhorm without the Stormruler passive

When using the storm ruler, holding its weapon art builds power to strike yorm with way stronger and more massive hits, like slicing him apart with wind, you made it way harder then intended, but congrats on the win haha

btw if you hold to charge your ash of war on the stormruler, you will do a couple thousand of damage with each charged hit. But well done yeah.. doing it the cooler and definitely hardest way you could possibly fight Yhorm XD <3

Multiple failed attempts with Father Gascoigne made me put the game away for months until I finally interneted for a cheesy way to pass him, especially his aggressive third phase. Enter the stairs trick! Then afterwards, it was an incredible game! I finally understood the praise for it. Even though the novelty of the initial game disappeared, I started a new one this time spamming the spin-to-win axe and I swear the game got better despite the OP repetitive cheese. Now I'm stuck at Chalice Rom and especially his reinforced helpers. Again it made me put the game away. That was my cool BB story.

Good list but I do disagree with some placements. Malenia i would put in B tier at the highest. Her waterfowl bs and healing ruin her for me. The rest of her moveset is really fun tho but I wish they at least gave a good telegraph for waterfowl. Godskin duo isn't even d tier, it's F. Maliketh is S but I dislike his 1st phase. It's so spammy. I agree on ur Godfrey take. In version 1.00, he actually did have 2 full hp bars for each phase and he had 30k hp compared to 21k currently. And he had a really cool laugh when u kill him. I hate that they changed him. Radagon deserved more hp and a proper 2nd phase. It pisses me off how much they fumbled him cos he's such a sick boss.

You were so busy avoiding fights (not very dark souls of you) that you didn’t get a proper explore done in the Cathedral. You missed TWO shortcuts back to the bonfire (that’s why you had such long run backs), a vendor, an NPC quest line, actually, 3 NPC quest lines (Seigward, Greirat, and Patches), a covenant, and the stat re-allocation NPC. Some of that is multiplayer related and maybe not a big deal for you, but it does illustrate the importance of level clearing.

I've played this game...idk how many times since 2016, I never knew Wolnir pulls a sword out at some point wow. And yeah, I agree about Irithyll

Zweihander is absolute beast, one of the best heavy weapons and most fun to play in the entire souls series

i would recommend doinmg DS1 before 3 but im guessing you are enjoying it too much (which is understandable)

abyss watchers gotta be my fav ds3 boss. not for its difficulty, but for its lore and vibe and ost (and the sick weapon I used the entire first run). that and irythill gotta be the best parts for different reasons.
