When I was born Oct 12,1976 this type country music was my nightly lullaby, I grew up play my moms records, 8 tracks, cassette tapes and replaying till I wore them out, the came DVD's I replaced her entire country collection, Jim Reeves version of precious memories was played at her funeral in 2006 its nearly killed me but I knew she was looking on smiling, she loved her classic country music, its all i will listen to this day and I'm only 47

SO is Wilbur Wynne on guitttaaahhh ... a totally obscure nobody despite immense TTT = talent, touch & timing ... has gotten the chops, sounds as if from the NE Tx school of jazz and blues soiled top ace guitarists. Flute is a joke instrument, can t take it seriously.

WILBUR WYNNE is an obscure, little-known guittaahh player. He belongs to the Tx school of excellent jazzblues cats. Not a virtuoso, but so very tasty. S got the touch ! But flute + vibes = not so good vibes 4 me. ...Met Mr Pate once, 93. Lives in Dallas, 100 yrs young ...2024

I've got to say, I never was a big fan of Webb's version but I have recently been a fan of Bill Phillips' other work, and I think he did a great job here.

Happy Perryman was my uncle . After Los Angeles his family moved to a town just outside of Bakersfield and then they moved up to Redding, California. My family visited his family countless times every summer. I always enjoyed visiting because he would always bring out his guitar and would play for a while. It was great.

True story. Making it brief. Boy you better get over here that coon;s coming down. I tripped over rock walking towards dad. That coon hit me in the back and sent me to the ground. Six dogs hit the coon and put it on the ground and took care of it;. True story - regardless of who believes.

Good story telling from true stories classic Southern folklore. Jerry didn't need sound affects with his style of prose to bring forth good healthy laughter.
