Hello Dave, you’re right! I was amazed by the size of some of the model planes, and it was a windy day so they must have been difficult to control. Thanks for sending in your feedback and for watching the video. VwW

Thanks for watching AP. As soon as I saw Wherry Arch on the cottages.com website I knew it was the place for us! We stayed for a week in June. Nothing fancy inside but the grounds and the dyke are beautiful. I couldn’t resist getting up at dawn every morning and going for a row past Gay’s Staithe and onto Barton Broad. We spent hours sitting in the sun in the garden. I got video clips of an otter, kingfisher, coots, moorhens, swans and cygnets etc. It’s a wonderful place to stay. You must go! Thank you for your positive comments about the video. VwW

@VideoswithWings Жыл бұрын
Hello Vegan Potterhead, I’m interested to know whether you have recently been watching the recent TV series about the designer who has moved to Mull and has set up a business doing rapid makeovers to properties in the area. I wondered if the programme would spark an interest in Mull!? Anyway, I love Mull, especially Tobermory and we have visited several times. I would happily live there. It is a beautiful place. Hello Mairi, thanks for watching the video and for writing a comment! The video was filmed around a village called Starbotton in the Yorkshire Dales. It was autumn and the weather was great for atmospheric video shots. When I looked back on the clips I’d taken I thought they looked a bit gloomy. When I found the music track I chose I thought that sounded a bit gloomy too! A perfect fit. I juggled around with the video clips and added a few of the North Yorkshire coast too. The result is rather strange but I thought anyone who was brave enough to watch it would make their own interpretation of it!! Thank you for doing just that! All the best VwW

Deal is only really nice when it is sunset and sunrise like the mid day isn't picturesque. Like the Break of the night, the sunsetting has beautiful purples and orange come out of the sky wild the night creeps in, and the morning have nice vibrant yellows and oranges fillings the sky wild the day wakes, what are really picruresque. But the same can't be said about the day, the blue sky with fluffy white clouds, but its just "average". "WOW BLUE, THE ONE SHADE OF BLUE IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD". I'm really like the sky but it either Rainy with Gray Clouds creeping over or biue its not.

What's it like to live on such a boat? Is it comfortable? Is it expensive? Is it good for a working man?

Is there only one ferry company doing those routes?
@VideoswithWings2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks for watching the video. As far as I know CALMAC are the only company who operate ferries on these routes. They run an excellent service (I don't work for them by the way!) and their prices are very reasonable. Their ferries are always in first class condition. It's a wonderful way of exploring a beautiful part of the world.

@@VideoswithWings thank you! I plan on doing the island hops next week. Which islands would you recommend ?
@VideoswithWings2 жыл бұрын
@@mrpullafastone Arran is a great island with fantastic beaches, caves and mountains. Mull is easy to get to from Oban. It's a large island with varied scenery....mountains, lochs, beaches. Some parts are very remote. Tobermory is a lovely little town. All the islands in the Outer Hebrides are fantastic although it takes about 4 hours I think to sail from Oban to Barra. From there you can work your way up from island to island and end up on Lewis. Wherever you go on Scotland's west coast you will find beautiful scenery.....so just take your pick!

Great to hear from you again Ramibu. Hope you are well. Well, I've learnt something new this morning.
