What a wonderful little film. Thank you so much for making this. As a resident of Wandsworth since 2008, I wouldn't' want to live anywhere else, certainly not in London. I am so happy living here, especially now that I have a son and a dog and it's down to the wonderful common and the abundance of green spaces throughout the borough. We couldn't have it any better in London and the community is also very special. Thank you for working so hard to maintain and enhance our beautiful Common and its environs.

This was my childhood. We've lived in Grandison Rd since 1961 (my dad's uncle Walter recommended the area as h lived near Magdalen Rd...he'd been in charge of the searchlights on Clapham Common during the war) I remember the steam trains going under the Cat's Back Bridge, and when you could get all you could ever need along Northcote Rd.

Hello from Canada! Lovely video! My English ancestors come from Wandsworth (Bates), but only dream to find a distant relative!

Oh memories of playing on the ‘rough’ common ( what’s the Scope?). Riding bikes across the common and down the slope to the pond, playing chicken…how far could you get into the water before you got stuck in the mud. The trick was to turn off beforehand, cos you didn’t have to explain why your shoes were mud soaked 😉

So good to see, how about the blackberry picking we used to do on the overgrown part of the common at the end of Lyford road
