Moses Lake is a neat area sort of in the middle of no where in WA but I did like it. Thanks for the review and sharing it. Take care and continued safe travels.

Nice video to watch when it brings back memories of Yakima (Birth place), Ellensburg and also Entiat. Many beautiful places and good fishing. Working my way back to my stomping grounds very soon. Thank you for the video.

Hi, do you know how many cars can park there overnight? I tried to call the ranger, but no one answer it😅.
@rvhounds597 Жыл бұрын
I don't know that but on the recreation.gov site there is a limit of 6 people per site.

Hey man. Just want to say thanks for all of the detail in your video. It helps out so much when planning a trip out there. I’m pretty sure I know exactly what site I’m going to request, all due to your video. Takes some of the stress out of planning a trip.

Is this Campground open year round?
@rvhounds5972 жыл бұрын
No, I believe it closes for the winter. You can check the Wenatchee NF web site and they can give the dates when it is open.

None of these sites have picnic tables?
@rvhounds5972 жыл бұрын
Bob No, none of them had a picnic table. The only amenity was the drop toilet. These are DNR dispersed camping areas. So you would have to bring your own folding table. We have one we use for eating or playing games on in these type of sites. Thanks for watching the videos. Thanks, Mike and Karen

was it September that you were there? were there a lot of First come first serve spots availabe? I'm going in early Sept 2022 for a week and not sure if I should make a reservation. Thanks for the help. Any good sites you remember to recommend?
@rvhounds5972 жыл бұрын
Kona We were there in August. Arrived on a Monday but had toured the campground on the day before to see if there were any spots. Yes, there were spots available. We were there for only two nights. It does get more use on the weekends but there seem to be lots of spots. Check the first come sites on recreation.gov, I believe there were quite a few. Reservations never hurt for a long stay. Loop D where we were was closer to the river and more open but the campground is in large timber as you see in the video. Thanks for watching the video. Watch for more videos this summer for more campground reviews. Thanks Mike and Karen

Forgot to answer your question. We came in on a Saturday morning and were able to get a first come first served site. In fact there were several site like that available. The other sites seemed to be reserved. But like I said in the video, by Sunday night the place cleared out and when we left Monday morning for Iron Creek campground we were the only ones in the campground besides the camp hosts. Happy travels. RVhounds
