Thank you for the tutorial! I have one question, how will you wear/hold the bag? like a backpack, handbag or sling bag? Im assuming backpack and if so, how many chain stitches will be needed to turn it into a sling bag ?

Thank you for watching....So this one is worn as a sling bag....Though in the video I did a shorter handle.....for a longer handle you can double the chains or your chains can be around 180cm to 200 cm long.

Hie....you can increase the number of chains in the foundation chain instead of 17 you could put 19 or 21 or 23 and so on . Then you adjust instead of repeating row to 2 to 10 you repeat to 11, 12 and so on depending on the number of extra chains you added in the foundation chain. You also do the same for the rows that we maintained the same number of stitches and also the ones we decreased

I wondered this too but just improvised and made sure my handle was about 1/3 covered with the initial row of single crochets and this was fine - I have a 5" ring and used 24 stitches with Tshirt yarn. If you use a thicker yarn you'll need less, thinner you'll need more 😊

On 2nd row it looks like you skipped 2 at the beginning but skipped 1 as you continued. Is that correct?

When you begin each row from row 2 you don't skip a stitch but rather chain two as the first double crochet and then insert hook in the base stitch of the chain to crochet the next double crochet. Thank you for watching.
