Hi Friends & Music Lovers! Today is Nick Ashford's Birthday! May he R.IP. Thanks to Nick and Valerie and a song caled Nothin But The Real Thing, Baby, I might have never finished and debuted my song: Chily Willy about keepin it Real whie Chasin the Dream. I had (believe it!) never heard of the cartoon character Chilly Willy! And I was recently at Stage Door of a Venue and one of the Security People came in and said: "What a Chilly Willy" (meaning rain and cold weather) which I took as another sign that we are all connected by some invisable "Consciousness". Lastly, please feel free to leave comments. The Song is straight up Story... and an "Allegory" regarding our shortfalls and self sabotage. Enough said. As Chilly Willy from a White Party Night (July 4th Celebration happened to be on my bday) was put onto KZbin to encourage me to put something out here.... I should like to open the door for comments and shed light for those who are very literal... whereas Song, and Poetry are nuanced... and in this case the whole story is both Real and an Allegory... for the Eternal Rounds of Self Sabotage that happen when we keep trippin on our Achilles Heel! Chilly is Cool, he is Chlil, He is Fly! His Sister is "Sillie" - its a joke cause boys call little girls "sillie" when they are 3 yrs old. and some girls learn to giggle and be silly to please them for the rest of their lives. The" Milli Vanill"i is the DREAM! But the Audition is Rigged as The Label already has Two Models who can't Sing to front for a Song other Artists Recorded! (A HUGE Scandel when it happened.. due to Music Video making Music Visuals a Must! I still love a good Love Song in my Ear at night!!!)... The "Pillie" is the Cop Out - The Excuse - the Thing we use to self -sabotage our own Dreams! Keepin It Real! Chilly says Bop Bop Shoo Da Bop Bop.. Enjoy your Life! Do your Dreams!
