Hey bro should I get the 1 or 2 inch lift even if my tires are stock ? Would it make It topple or anything? I had my prius engine swapped for 2,800$ . My car was burning oil every 2000 miles no more oil on the dip stick. Got a 50k mile engine . My prius is 380k miles now drove 200k on that engine already

@andrewcarranza156228 күн бұрын
because bro is traveling and living in his car. so he probably doesnt have a garage close by to do it.
@blackjmyntrn19 күн бұрын
because the garage has pool table and I don't want to have the neighbors complaining because I like to not work in the sun in the driveway. So much easier working at night with the cooler weather.

@@blackjmyntrn that's already getting too complicated and expensive. The system I have has been working for 3 weeks. The only thing a bit annoying is the terminals are different so I had to get some nuts and bolts. And there is some voltage drop with the lights when the little pump turns on when the car is off. But it works. 30ah probably less voltage drop.

ohh no. I added a heavy duty marine fuse box and ran a thick wire from the back 2nd 12V 85AH I added which powers the winch and all addon electronics. You can buy the mount now, I believe with same day shipping if ordered before 10am PST.

Dude that's much much much less comfortable and smaller than a prius. Though I do agree with you that there becomes a point where it's like okay...I should just invest in a 4x4. But truly it depends what your doing. If your doing more overlanding where your driving thousands of miles to a beautiful place, say a national park or desert. You want a little ground clearance for fire roads maybe and things like that, light stuff, but utilizing a true 4x4 for something like that is completely a waste. I love my 2nd gen that has 369k miles on it and plan on getting an 07 I'm looking at with 42k miles on it, simply because they're legit some of thee best cars made. I'm an automotive technican by trade and it's my preferred vehicle for my use (daily commuting, road trips, light fire roads for rock climbing and hiking). I have seen like one of two people on KZbin actually going gnarly offroad with them and it's just...I mean it's sad really. Cuz they REALLY want to offroad with a niche vehicle, but it's just not made for it lol however, it is an amazing car for certain use

@ashonestaspossible41393 ай бұрын
@@clintonakinyemi1616 maintenance is a huge one, I use royal purple motor oil, premium spark plugs and check all filters/tires/suspension components every oil change. The biggest thing is where is most of your driving? City or highway? I’ve found that in stop and go traffic it’s better to learn to use the regenerative braking. And obviously slowly hit the gas. For highway driving I have found anything over 65 mph your mpg will decrease to >37mpg. I drive 60 mph even in a 70mph speed limit and I can get 45mpg that way.

Black Jimmy Neutron! You are my current KZbin hero. I’ve been a Gen 3 (2011) owner since it was new and I am an avid outdoors person. I had no idea how incredibly versatile these cars are until I found your content! Tons of inspiration. Quick question , did you do the 2 inch spacer in the rear in addition to the heavy duty springs, or just the springs on their own? It seems like 4-5 inch lift in the rear(depending on tire) would be quite a lot if not weighed down.
