Thank you for this video. Wanted to quit coding altogether hearing about how ai can produce code. Here in South Africa it's becoming increasingly popular to use ai tools for daily coding tasks. All the best 👍

I did try using NeoVim. I was just fascinated by how all these youtubers switched between files and lines of code so quickly. I gave it a shot my fingers just couldn't keep up with the shortcuts 😅. It's DIFFICULT unlearning arrow keys!

It takes time for sure. I still confuse Up and Down keys 😃 after almost a year of daily usage

I feel like there will be stratification like many professionalized fields. There will be different kinds of certification levels for different types of work. Something like we see in medicine. There will be a lot of basic tech level jobs that pay basic salaries and a lot of different higher level specialty & high skill roles.
@roman_v_code22 сағат бұрын
Interesting that Tech industry moves what “basic” is a lot Like imagine if in medicine they would did something that wouldn’t require taking blood with needles or other things nurses usually do. So we would have stacking more and more things like medicine without abandoning some things. But Tech is interesting in that case as it eliminates some stuff at all during time But I guess yes, in some future maybe we will have less chaos and more standardized levels. Maybe in 1m years when we will know how to accurately estimate tasks 😃

I remember the first times I opened vim and tried to edit stuff, I felt like I wanted to cry because I was so slow. Now completely the opposite, I use an editor that doesn't have vim motions and I want to cry 😢
@roman_v_codeКүн бұрын
💯 I am thinking to do what you did and move all note taking into NeoVim. I am ising Bear for a very long time and the main problem is just to find time and make a script that will convert all my notes (which is a lot) into .md plus assets for every note. I like Bear app, but I steuggle witout vim motions more and more 😃

And I can second what you said 😃

@@roman_v_code yes, I started with Google drive and it was a pain. I still have all the notes there, I started fresh in Neovim and just migrate stuff that I need when I need it. Otherwise I have a lot of trash in those notes and it can remain there as an archive

What do you think about cybersecurity jobs? Will it grow along with SE?
@roman_v_codeКүн бұрын
To be honest, have no idea since I am not exposed to this part of jobs too much I can only guess based on the fact that number of data is increasing and companies should care about privacy. So it kinda should increase demand for cybersecurity. But as we can see a lot of companies don’t care so, no idea 🤷🏼♂️
@MrRexxarHellКүн бұрын
@@roman_v_code I guess., They will have to care, looking at meta fees both in US, and EU.

Nice Video and a very well structured path. For me after the math I'd start with learning basic stuff like basic algorithms then I'd start learning low level stuff with C. Like writing a compiler or writing a kernel. Then I'd learn networking and protocols and then start writing a web server with C implementing the protocols. Then I'd move on to modern languages like Go or fully featured one like Java depending on the goals.
