Hi @zenspa please check if the device is good for your internet connection and the cables are correct wired and installed. Please also check with your internet provider, if the DSL line is up and in service.

Dear @ps5ps530 please check the speed of the connection WAN, the LAN and WLAN to see where the latency issue comes from. It may occur that your internet line is too slow for the game or the line is busy with other applications. You can also check to switch the device to bridge mode and only connect your gamer PC to see if the routing function of the device creates the latency. If this is the case you might need to use the device as end-point to xDSL only and add a faster router such as the Armor 5G to service your applications.

@robert7622 The installation of the FWA710 5G Outdoor Router, as shown in the video, is very straightforward and can be quickly completed with the help of the Zyxel Nebula and Air App. By "OB work," do you mean Outdoor Broadcasting? If so, then it can be easily accomplished without any issues.

I followed the step 1 with LAN link: but at the end I need to switch off the WX3100 to move it upstairs. After that I switch off, it will maintain the same properties? Cause it's seems not working good. Thanks

@gkym the LAN is used for backbone, if it is connected between the nodes. If you connect a PC by cable the LAN should normally work fine, but the application can use ports that are not forwarded into the mesh system by your router. Please check: can you play when you are connected direct to the IAD (Router)? Can you play when you are in the WiFi? Please report your findings to the support team under support.zyxel.eu

Hi, You mean there is no gray port on the device or ther was not a gray cable included? The cable is available in every shop that sells telephone accessory. If the device does not have a gray port it is not the VMG3625-Series, but an EX... something. Please check.

Hi, you must connect the first node with a cable and extend the WiFi then with the Multy M1 set. If the WiFi of the router overlap with the WiFi of Multy, you will need to switch off the routers WiFi. If your new router is a Zyxel E/DX model with AX1800, you can use the WX3100 to mesh the WiFi of the router and extend it.

Hi Hilda, it is maybe only an issue of the phone cable. Can you hear a tone when you pick up the phone? If yes then the wiring is okay. You need to check the SIP settings with the provider. If the phone stays silent you need another cable, where the wiring is correct. In some countries you need a phone adaptor that connects the plug of your phone to the device. Ex. Germany needs a TAE-F to RJ11 adaptor. Please check with your providers support, if the problem still stays.

@@ZyxelSupportCampus we have 2 phones one in our business and one upstairs in the house. The one upstairs rings but you cannot hear anyone on the other end just noise where as the one in our business does not ring at all and there's no sound on that one .

@@hildalough-sm6cy this sounds like incompability of the phones or wrong wireing. Check with a phone that is offered by your provider or with the phone booth neext door, if they can help. It is not an issue of the device as you hear ring and sound.

Very sad to read this, but the WLAN speed is not 1:1 same as your internet speed. It has many facors that influence the speed. Which frequence you use, which channels are used and how many client and apps are running. Further the small distance between main WiFi and the repeater is not good, because your client does see two strong WLAN APs and flips between them. Please set up your network as it should be with distance of 15-25 meters between IAD and repeater and then you see a much better performance. Hi, no this device must have a cable in the first AP and then the second can do only with power cable, but there are WX3100 devices that can do the function with SmartMesh.

@@ZyxelSupportCampus thanks for the feedback. I had to return this WX3100 cos it was terrible with roaming and handoffs in between the devices. Still on NWA90AX. So I can’t have it working in bridge mode, with one connecting wirelessly to the EX5601-T1 and to a second NWA90AX?

Hi, the bridge mode cannot be broken but due to the IAD you use it may not be possible. If the IAD does not offer routing functions, the bridge mode fail as no client gets an IP address. Please have a look also to the manual of the device, this helps a lot to answer questions.

The NWA90AX has more antennas in 5Ghz segment and can provide a guest WiFi.

Hi Brian, yes to reduce the amount of electronic waste, Zyxel decided to suggest the professional PoE power by switch or injector. You can use the GS1915-series or the PoE12HP to power it up.

Your comments on PoE sources is helpful. It would also be helpful to include the power adapter specs for those that want to setup as shown in the video.
