My friends and I used to play this in the early 80s and go out of our way to hit the trees thanks to the satisfying sound. Same for C64 Impossible Mission for the death yell as you fell.

This was one of the few games I knew that was harder to play on the lowest level than it was on the highest. A slope of 1 took FOREVER to finish, and it was almost impossible to jump the moguls.

The only game we ever returned to the store because it was quite annoying. Got TI Invaders instead!

Ah memories.

Even though I Xbox it, now🎮. I could still go back to this game, and see if I can rise to the challenge🎿.

I just received some news about the legendary soccer player Pele just died this morning. It's on December 29th, 2022. He was 82 years old. He had multiple organ failures. He was first diagnosed with colon cancer. Definitely, there was an Atari 2600 video game cartridge and a children's digest article segment about him. Most of you didn't even know these 2 things. 🌄

My brother and I would make the guy fall on purpose just so we could hear it go "oof".

The sounds for the Intellivision version were a lot less annoying. I used wonder what happened to all the cows he was catching.

I would give this game a 4 out of 5. Well designed Afterburner clone that pushed the systems abilities.
