How and where do you order the brace? I tried small ones from amazon or my dog maltipoo but he takes them off easily. It’s been a few months since he had a partial tear and I don’t know what to do. The vet says surgery only but is that really the only solution?

I had a dog that blew her ACL at 1.5 years old. Had the surgery immediately. She lived to 16 and passed from a brain tumor. She never blew the second knee so you are not reporting accurately in this video. Get them the surgery. They have a 95-100 percent chance of pre injury recovery and will return to full activity for the duration of their natural life. I’d never not give my dog the surgery they need. If I needed surgery, I’d get it for myself. The same is true for my dog.

Hello, We are the team from the new variety show "Living in Finland's rented room" on tvN, a South Korean television network. Our program was filmed this summer in Kemijärvi and Posio in Finnish Lapland with famous korean actors like Cha Eun-woo, Kwak Dong-yeon, Lee Je-hoon and Lee Dong-hwi. We would like to inquire about using this video on our show. The videos will be used to introduce the feature of husky hiking. I would appreciate it if you could reply regarding the use of the source. Thank you!

Copper dog dishes leach additional copper into the meal which is not great since modern dogs are getting too much copper from commercial foods and also from home prepared meals that tend to have too much liver and too often. I realize this particular meal does not have ruminant liver but I assume that their regular diet includes ample liver so for sure, get rid of the copper bowls.

I’ve always loved your channel! I’m curious why you guys don’t use crates for your dogs to give them the best protection & best chance at surviving a bad accident, God forbid. I’ve grown up seeing dogs loose in vehicles. After being in some bad accidents myself, thankfully without my dog in the car, I see the value & worth to have a great quality hard crate. I see it as the same as having a car seat for a child. My dog is my baby. Thoughts? Do the both of you have recommendations for crates for travel?
@huskysquadАй бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and for loving our channel! I completely understand your perspective, and I can tell how much you care about your pup’s safety-it’s so important. I’ve been a dog mom for over 15 years and have traveled extensively with our pack, even experiencing a car accident with three of our dogs on board. Because of our crateless but highly padded setup, I was able to retrieve them quickly and safely. With multiple large dogs, crates would have made it incredibly difficult, if not dangerous, to remove them in an emergency. There are some safety considerations that have led us to choose a secure, crateless setup. Crates can be hard to access in the event of an accident, especially if they get jammed or blocked. They also aren’t typically designed to withstand high-impact crashes, and unless specifically crash-tested and securely anchored, a crate could shift or even break apart in a severe accident, putting the dog at risk. For us, with multiple large dogs, this setup offers the best balance of safety and comfort, especially for our longer trips. Additionally, we’ve noticed that crating can increase stress levels for some dogs over extended periods. Our padded setup allows them more freedom to relax and stretch out, which is key for frequent travelers like the Squad. It’s similar to how dogs aren’t crated in the cabin on aircraft-they’re kept secure but with some room to move. Of course, everyone’s needs and comfort levels are different, and I totally respect those who choose crates for their dogs. If that’s something you want to pursue, I’m sure there are channels that specialize in that setup! Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and for being part of the Husky Squad family!

I realize how much time has passed. I found your videos while trying to create a physical therapy routine for my dog after his CCL injury. This morning it occurred to me how long ago you had posted Tidus's journey and that he had most likely passed by now. I feel like I just lost an old friend, and I've only been watching your videos for a few days. I work for a vet and have worked and volunteered in animal rescue for several years. It is so beautiful to see an animal loved and honored the way Tidus has been. Wishing you well and thank you for sharing your family with us.

I LOVE your dogs!!! And I also love your tiny house. I would love to have one like that. I have been wanting one for a while, but I've been concerned about my dogs having a fenced in yard because they go outside a few times a day and love to run around. So I've been looking for land, but it's always out in the middle of nowhere, and that is not going to work for me. Lol.

I just lost my baby boy last Saturday as well. He had a cluster of seizures when I was at work and my parents called me and i dropped everything at work but by the time I got home my boy was gone. Coming back to this video makes me feel so many emotions. I buried my boy as well cause he had severe anxiety in unfamiliar places. I watched this video three years ago and didn’t grasped the sadness of it entirely until it happens to me. I seek out this video again to help me grieve and let go knowing we love and care for our babies to the fullest and there’s no regret. I may be 3 years late but I’m so sorry for your loss, i know you guys still miss Tidus everyday like I do with my boy but hopefully in time it’ll turn into something a little less bitter.
