Honestly, I purchased some unrefined shea butter on Amazon, and it works PERFECTLY! I anoint my Fine low/med density hair daily, and my hair is doing really really well! I Have bigger braids, but it works magnificently

I just removed my 2 months (exclusively anointing with butter) old mini braids. I finger detangled and applied butter and rebranded in larger sections for a month or so. I did a HEAVY anointing today! No washing since early September (only time since I had that set installed on 8/24/24). My hair feels GREAT! Took me a week or so to remove at my convenience.

Have a question what about glycerin? I have a butter that has glycerin in it. While doing this challenge should i just do pure shea butter or can Input glycerin in it?

Split ends will still travel up your hair shaft regardless of whether it is braided or not. If the split reaches your scalp, the hair follicle will die.
