Hi from South Africa 😊 I made this today but think that there was too much butter as it floated to the top and wouldn't mix in. Can I reduce the quantity and by how much please

Whatever you do do not use pure raw unrefined sugar it will not mix w the butter it turns out like a soft ice cream topping w butter all around the edges and on top.it will not work I used a candy thermometer but RAW sugar has to be cooked longer so the temp gets higher I recooked mine it didn't have the nuts yet but did have the chocolate in it I don't know if it worked or not but after it cools I will let you know what happened right now I'm going to the store to get some regular table sugar and more butter while that cools I want my almond roca to be good and this is the best recipe I have found on KZbin it is delicious and always turns out unless you use raw sugar it will not work trial and error and I didn't realize it until I was cooking it down and it dawned on me it had to be the raw sugar and it was good luck this is an excellent recipe that never fails you and it's even better then store bought.😅

OK so I tried it after it cooled there was butter all over the top like before the raw sugar just won't mix with the butter no matter ,it would not harden at all it is like a liquid and bitter tasting it wasn't sweet at all NEVER AGAIN BIG MISTAKE BUT I DID LEARN FROM THIS ONE .THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT RECIPE SIR YOURS IS THE BEST ONE ON KZbin KUDOS FOR SHARING .

Just made this candy. Just waiting for it to cool down and set up, so I can taste it. Very easy to make and will probably be making it many more times before the first of the year. Thanks for a great video showing the process! One thing I experienced when cooling it down in the fridge.... Leave it in longer than you think is needed. The toffee will set up in about 10 minutes and can be broken easily... BUT the chocolate will take a lot longer to set up... PS by "Gooey Fingers" LOL

Thanks for the video Glenn. I was having the same issue with my GT54UHD from a reconditioned 93sv Amazon purchase and was thinking this might be why I saved $150. But the previous comment also proved right in my case as I found the locking nut in its own small clear bag. Thanks Leonard! Here's a Garmin video showing the installation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKvcfXdpdpWigMU

I was having the same issue, it appears that they no longer connect the locking nut to the cable to make it easier to route the cable. i eventually found it in a separate bag included with the transducer so that you can attach it after you have routed the cable. it comes in two halves and snaps around the end of the cable.

Walnut Creek CA. is a proud supporter of white supremacy ideologies and behaviors. From the lying racist Contra Costa County fire department to the lying racist Walnut Creek police department these are two aggressive taxpayer funded hate groups. The racism is real the sin is great. This video is deceiving, they don’t tell you half of the homes are part of mutual and you don’t get title to the home you buy , have to pay $20 thousand to use facilities in advance , the alteration committee is very unfriendly to elderly , if u want to remodel you have to pay up to $800 fee ! the houses are old and not up to code and the association don’t want to spend the money to fix problems , most condos built in 1960’s don’t have washer dryer , and some no dishwasher and cost you $10,000 or more Plus alteration cost to do this , some has asbestos that cost you 10,000 to remove, they have list of contractors that they recommend that rip off the elderly , Buyer be aware !

I do the same procedure, except I use whole graham cracker squares to line the pan first, then the caramel, bake for 6-7 mins at 350, put chocolate on top, and spread when melted. Sprinkle with pecans or almonds. Line the baking pan with foil and use cooking spray.

@@GlennAllenRE thank you for the invite. I tried again last night and even though I think it burned a little bit I did manage to keep it from separating. Almond Rocha is a family tradition that goes back a long ways. However I don’t have a relationship with that side of my family so I’m trying to learn it on my own. Your video was so easy to follow and I really appreciated the time you took to create a good video
