Awesome! I was in Two Rivers ten yers ago after it was cold then warm then cold again and there were hundreds long thin tubes of clouds extending way up into the sky all over the lake for miles. They looked like spirits dancing. I wish I had a camera then.

I didn't know the storm was going to get so bad, and I found the normalcy of TV calming. Also can't switch off the cat. :)

That's about when I moved here (1979). I've had a view of Promontory Point since the early 2000s. These intense storms bother me as I don't remember them in western New York, but found out WNY had a tornado recently.

I love that name "Petunia" when my daughter was born I couldn't find any nick name for her so l called her Petunia ..😊🥰

@@slywy SandRidge used to have an annual event for ThanksGiving every year. I forget why Kate stopped going. Might have been because they stopped letting her do this inside. Some of the events it was quite cold and wet outside. She used to do this also at the annual Buckley Homestead fall fest, in Lowell, IN. Then one year, they wanted HER to pay a fee to be there, and that's when she stopped and hasn't been back since. Buckley lost other ppl like Kate for the same reason.

I grew up within walking distance of this location, the Promontory Point in the Chicago neighborhood of Hyde Park, roughly 5500 S. at the lakefront. Great memories!

Such a beautiful bonded pair of storks. This was Jethro and Cheyenne. They had mated and produced many chicks over the years at LPZ. They fostered other chicks for over three years.

It's interesting watching this video in Perth, Australia where it's + 36 today. I just received The human magnet syndrome book. And I can't put it down. It is so interesting and I see myself ( codependent), on every page. Thank you Ross for your story and knowledge. I already started changing my life after listening to your KZbin videos.

This is footage of the Illinois Kite Enthusiasts club at the Indiana Dunes. We have an annual gathering in the fall to fly on the beach. Will be there again the weekend of Sep 21, 2013. Thanks for the video. :)
