I wake up between 3:45 - 4:15. skip the book nonsense, skip the meditation, skip the planning. Do the planning the night before, exercise for 40+ minutes, then shower with cold water, then eat and coffee, then start the work day. Should be done all of that by 5:30. By 8:00am, it's my lunch break, while everyone else is still dragging their feet drinking their coffee trying to get their day started.
