I fixed it, it was the moving mechanism stuck (needed to file a step and make it flash so it could move up and down).

Hello, my jigsaw when turned on, only flashesh light few times 8-9 and thats all, i hear the motor like try to start and move a tick and thats all, do you know what can be the problem?
@MiguelCamba Жыл бұрын
Yes, I do. It happened the same to mine. I asked for my money back, and lidl was quick in doing it. And told me to keep the tool. Since I had nothing to loose I tried to fix it and I did, but I'm not sure how long it will last. I think it will eventually fail again. Essentially, the rotor rubs with the stator preventing the motor from starting. And this happens because parkside thought it was a good idea to put the bearing that keeps both perfectly aligned in the housing of the tool instead of having the motor have its own housing around. If the shell of the tool is even slightly bent that may be enough for the motor to stop working. I only opened the machine, adjusted things a bit, and screwed the case very carefully, making sure all screws are evenly tightened. If you tight a screw even a little bit too much that can be enough to make the rotor loose alignment and stop working.

Which version of the broken Parkside jigsaw do/did you have?
@DomovoiMilanovicz Жыл бұрын
The bearing of the new version is positioned in the housing of the saw... genious! 🤦🏻 Old motor-housing was way better!
@MiguelCamba Жыл бұрын
In fact that has already given me problems. The rotor quickly became misaligned and started to rub on the stator. No bueno.

This is the worst parkide model ever. This and the recipocrating saw. Try the b3 impact driver. It is just perfect
@thegarageproject2102 жыл бұрын
The new one is working very well. I'm sure the impact driver is great, but I wanted something light to drill and screw, and at 750gr with the 2ah battery included, it weights the same as the battery of the impact driver alone. Ever since I got this I barely use the big drill since I do things with wood most of the time. Lidl has always been very good with warranty, so I have 5 years to check if the second unit gives me problems.

Had the Same Problem. The rotor was rubbing on the windings.
@MiguelCamba2 жыл бұрын
I don't think that the case in this situation. It has less power and I saw a few sparks. Also, sometimes it doesn't start spinning when I press the trigger unless I press it all the way down. However I'll take a look if your theory is correct. If you're right I might be able to fix it and end up a free drill, since the second unit is what the technical service sent me as a replacement.
@thegarageproject2102 жыл бұрын
I checked and I think you're right, however I don't see a good way to fix it. The rotor is only held by two bearings, one in the back of the fan hold by the case and another in the gearbox. Since the space for the rotor is so small, if those two bearings are not perfectly aligned the rotor will rub with the sides. And there's no easy way to align it better.

@@thegarageproject210 I fixed mine with cardboard. I put some cardboard between the motor and the case and then screwed it all Back togehter in and it's been working fine for months now. You just have to keep trying where to put the cardboard so that the motor turns freely

@@benutzerdefiniert2632 hi, i have the same problem. Can you better explain your solution? Pls
@cameraman2505 Жыл бұрын
@@diopadreonnipotente4968 He used cardboard on one side, a small piece of cardboard, just to push the motor and force it to seat in the center of the case of the drill, after it's put back together. This way the motor parts are alligned again and the motor spins freely.

pivot attached to housing can lead to less blade flex which is an issue with older models. Open frame motor has more way to cool it self now. If they do this, they also probably fix issue with dust debris getting everywhere. I would say those are not so "minor" changes if you know the production process of anything mass scale.
@MrHellMoe2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the Video! Whats about the Buttons? Have they got an improvement? The B2 Version had a lot of problems with the buttons. Infact of an incorrect position (production tolerance) in the inside, they are not centered to the outer button „cap“ and so the response is often very poor.
@thegarageproject2102 жыл бұрын
I did not notice any change, but that said I didn't notice the buttons being incorrectly placed in my unit of the 2022 model either. Mine was fine.

I just want to know, how you got this newcoming parkside tool
@thegarageproject2102 жыл бұрын
I had a problem with the previous saw, I reached to tech support and they said that they would send me a new saw but they were out of stock and awaiting a new shippment. If I didn't mind waiting they would send me one as soon as they arrive, and 3 days later they received the saws and sent me this that turned out to be the refreshed 2023 model. It's not a massive improvement really, but I *think* that it vibrates a tiny bit less. I didn't notice any difference in power or speed.
