I know it is an opposing (and maybe unpopular) opinion, but I like that they reduced the ability to "cheese" content. This game, by design, is very difficult (near impossible) to advance in as a solo player. I see while you are speaking to such players, you are in a party, which I like to see. Thanks for the tips: they help groups, too.

I think doing a bear run is faster, i was doing this method before patch in various spots and after patch i tried and yes you get a good amount of the hides but you get large animal hidfes x2 or x3 from bears which is at least 4-6 per bear which comes in twos and very easy to kill solo. A bear run which takes 45 min (not including travel to the area) nets me 17 bears in one line then you go back and get another 13 (since not all respawn) that is 30 bears averaging 2.4 per LARGE animal hides/bear = 72 large animal hides. Versus the method of pulliong packs i only get in the 40s of animal hide NOT large for 45 min about 1 per min because you have to wait for reset of mobs or jsut find new ones. Just my 2 cents. yesterday i made over 100 boiled leather. bears just mez and pilgrims, if you have a duo its faster but if you split loot no difference. so the mobs net 40 animal hides which turn into 20 large versus 72 large from bears a huge difference. Even if i doubled the pulling a bunch of mobs method thats 40 large hides still 32 less. you would have to average 10 animal hides per pack pulled because bears usually comes in pairs of 2 which net 5 large. Time to kill 2 bears is fast two if you light one up light the other up and back and forth using mez to stun. Sometimes a pack of 2 can even net 6 large from two 3x drops which often happens.

I thought so at first because large hide. But having tested a good bear rotation they simply take too long to kill. With this rotation you still have multiple bear spawns but they are mixed in with boars and wolves so you're not wasting time fireballing and mes'ing. You just poke down the whole pack. I get almost 2x as much hide as our fastest bear runner this way. Remember, this entire video is only 25 minutes with me taking plenty of time to stop and explain things, and showing you how to troubleshoot any problems. Hourly I can net plenty more. Mes/Fireball is just too slow.

@@BionicTide i guess but i saw this comment 50 min ago so i spent 25 min (took me 32 min)on bear run and i killed 14 bears for 34 large hides. according to your inventory when you showed + if i counted correctly youd have to go double as fast to get the same amount. Mez and Fireball are slow but it's only 6 second cooldown so each bear is 6x4 24 seconds but obviously not perfect so lets say 30 seconds which is less time than a full back especially bcause bears come typically in sets of two in wildlands. which reduces the time in between packs drastically. so youd have to get two packs in 1 min consistently. but to each their own! i just don't see people doing th is method anymore as it was the old method for hides prepatch.

For science if you want to try its in Merrie middle wildlands there are 18 bears in a line then you go back and kill about another 12 just circling back the way you came takes an hour for about 60-65 large animal hides. or you can take aditiuonal time for some skullcap if you are in 30s alch. and if you have two ppl the double mez borks the bears and they don't attack even when attacked so makes it faster

@@brokeish The run from my video takes about 15 min if you go fast, which is perfect timing for the unstuck reset. There's also a lot more monsters than shown in the video. There was another person killing them at that time. Both methods are good. I do bears sometimes because they are closer to my house but prefer the packs personally.

bears aren't buggy. If you get to a place where they can't attack you they will run away. This was part of the new patch. Makes solo work harder when dealing with bears.

I might if people like this one. Would you prefer full in depth guides or core mechanics for winning like this? I feel like some videos feature too many combos that you don’t need/want in a real fight

I feel like you got a great skill of reaching to the casual audience who are new to the game. I certainly learned a lot from this video. Of course do whats best for your channel. Thank you for uploading this, I was looking for a good sorc ball lightning build since I've never attempted to use one before, and every video I saw kept on stressing how important the uniques from Duriel are(Tibaults Will and Flickerstep) and I just wanted something thats a bit more manageable earlier on.

I still recommend using Tibaults and Oculus for certain things, but this build poops on most unique dependent versions :)

@@BionicTide Update, used your build. Absolutely tearing through the endgame. I used to get one shot by Duriel but now I have killed him several times solo by about level 90. And this was with Tal Rasha being the only unique I used which replaced the recharging aspect. Thanks man, you actually made my sorc feel like it could take the endgame properly

We do but not from ball lightning, we get it from our dash, frost nova, ice shield, flame shield, ect. ect. Our mana is endless in rotation with the other tricks in the video

We get many many free casts of chain lightning automatically because of our ult and our passives. It's almost better than the prodigy

Just a heads up. This gameplay was from yesterday, long after the supposed DoT nerf (Core skill bug fix). This it's working perfectly fine as it's not dependent on core skill for poison damage. Happy hunting 👍

I dont understand what im doing wrong. Im using this exact build and have 72.7% damage reduction while injured plus a bunch of other damage resistance things and she still one shot kills me before i get her health even 1/4 way down. Do i need to do something different cuz im about to give up on lillith

i see a lot of comments saying they're fine at t100s but cant facetank lilith waves, can someone confirm this? I’ve tried Uber Lilith a couple times but needed to beef out a few things and I’m trying again later. @brandonclayton6937 I did have to dodge some stuff to be able to survive. @DenyThisFlesh I would suggest in the Phase 1 look up how to dodge the ground waves. @SSmitar I've been solely doing nightmare 100 since level 82 easily but still can't beat lilith, im level 94 now. @ConanR I followed almost everything u recommend for the build.. my DR while injured is 79.7.. barrier regeneration 99.2 and yet im still getting 1 shot by the waves @jonnytapia848 Same, not sure what I'm doing wrong @atomicpsych0 I suspect we ALSO need to max out Total Armor while in Werewolf form. I'm working on that now. Also, popping Cyclone and Hurricane before wave seems to help. @xWarlanx same the waves one shot me too @powerrangerkunal Also, he's trying to fool you by putting out a fake build and get you to join his discord for more info coz it simply doesnt work: Hard to say without seeing your gear as a whole and how you play. My guess is your symbiotic is not maxed or your attack speed is slow. But join the discord and check with me on there and we'll get to the bottom of it. 👍 @nerdninjastudios

I have damage reduction while injured on my pants, legs and amulet and should've added up to 89 and still somehow says 65..? I'm still getting one shotted no matter what I do!

You need about 40 on each of the three pieces if you're trying to tank, but let us help you figure out if thats the problem. Join the discord! :)

I follow this build to a tee and I get one shotted by her spikes I dont get it... I have 14k barrier (94.7% barrier bonus), 80% dmg rd w injured. I use iron barb potion and armor incense. any advise?
