For the Essilor Transitions brand, it would have to be 4 or more years. By then people unusually need a new prescription. But if you are in a very hot part of the country, currently in August, I'd say it was the heat and not the age that prevents them from turning dark. Wait a month or two and you'll probably notice how much darker they'll get in cooler weather. July and August are the worst months for photochromic lens performance.

No we just provide the lenses. There must be places online that sell the spray. Walmart has the wet wipes in boxes of 100.

Hi good question! The best answer we can give you is that some people do have problems with them. At the same time other people love them and do not have any problems with the reflections. Sorry we were not able to give you a better answer than that one. Most people do well with them, but not all.

I really like the idea behind these lenses, 1 lens that does it all, indoors / outdoors / car. Even if it's not ideal in all of these scenarios, I guess it's the burden of being a jack of all trades.

Both Essilor Style Mirrors and Zeiss Flash Mirrors have rear surface anti-glare - Standard

@@freeprescriptionlenses I'm wondering if maybe the flash mirror negates the AR coating. You guys made me Photofusion X in extra grey with silver flash coating back in 2023, and I almost sent them back because of the bad reflection. I think I would choose some other combo next time.

No it has Zeiss BlueProtect Anti-Glare

Green tint - Not bluish... Where did you get your lenses? Are they flash mirrors - or sunglass mirrors? Do you have rear surface anti-glare?

And the worst part is they probably didn't ask if you wanted it. Find out what their remake policy is and ask them to do it without polished edges. If they will, ask them to also notate your file to never do it again.

Most of the time we have to break the lenses. In this particular case we were able to get them out in one piece.

I was told not to use heat on this frame because the risk of damaging the electronics inside. It is OK to do on any other frame.

One thing to keep in mind is that Essilor only does style mirrors (flash mirrors) in certain lens materials. You can email us your prescription at [email protected]
