The main theme from the second movement of Elgar's Serenade for String Orchestra is an excellent example of musical borrowing as it closely follows the Guild motive from Wagner's opera Die Meistersinger.

She is just too much of an empath for the business. One of my favorite sopranos! Such musicality and a stun-ning voice ❤

I live the Mary Lou Williams piece. It's wonderful. It's great 20th Century music. Dr. Anthony Kelley did a great job completing this composition.

Great performance! Nice sound quality! However, the video resolution is less than optimal. Can't even see the faces in the first row clearly.

Beautiful music and very nicely performed. Can I use this music for an amateur documentary about a resistance fighter from the Netherlands? With attribution, of course.

I love these two etudes, the pathos of the introduction and the highly chromatic melodic lines of the second etude.

Non sono musicista, ma l'accompagnamento della mano sinistra del pianista non è accurato. Esegue bene le note ribattute, ma ne mette moltissime😂 Ma la violinista quanti nomi ha??😵

Great that these amazing artists can interact with the students! Paul Jeffrey had done that in the 80’s and 90’s. And John Brown is continuing this great tradition.

Thank you. This means a lot to me. I heard my first live string quartet in Baldwin Auditorium about 50 years ago - the original Ciompi Quartet. I'm very pleased to see Duke Chamber Music still doing well.
