Wasn't electrical. Was a clogged / poorly designed filter. Fixed in the next video.

@@AngryGermanGarage thanks, I ended up changing my mind and paying for the subscription as I also want to add the subwoofer and also want to disable the Four C as the previous owner of the car already switched to standard shocks. So it made sense to get the subscription as the total for this operations would be 290€ vs 160€ subscription (VAT included).

I used to use the red shop rags to check fluids but they come apart and will leave strands like that in your motor and your transmission. I use the blue paper towels and after I clean the dip sticks with that I pinch them with my fingers and pull it through to make sure noting is on the dip stick before I put it back in the motor or trans depending on what im checking. Good catch on this one!

? Did that filter had the transmission not shifting

It wouldn't move at all in any gear. Changed the filter and pressure came up to normal levels and all problems solved.

What can i do my car suddenly of while driving timing bet cut in several pieces and broke the engine head , after i replace another engine head, again 40 kms drive my car belt was cut and broke the head again i spend lots of money 🥺 , kindly plz help me if anyone of solution about this problem, I'm from India and volvo parts costs 5 times more compare to other countries, thats y i want solution
@AngryGermanGarage4 ай бұрын
That is an unlucky sequence of events. There is a fix in the later model engines to prevent the belt finding its way into the timing cover that can be retrofit, but you don't really have a choice but to replace the head again or give up with the car.

I have 2011 V60 with Premium Sound (12 speakers) and inspired you project I did the same to my V60 and fiasco bro... I did everything as in your installation video. All VDASH steps (I bought a subscription with which you can change all possible configurations). The SUB adjustment appeared in the menu among other available adjustments, but it does not play. I tried resetting the CEM to factory settings. Then I "loaded" everything again, but nothing changed. Do you have any ideas what could be wrong??? please help me, because I put so much work and money and I got a flop🙈 . ALL V60s never had SUB from factory...

Torque test channel tested the studs as you're probably aware and they did pretty well but yes it is something to worry about. Maybe install a coolant pressure sensor?
@AngryGermanGarage7 ай бұрын
Yeah I'm aware of TTC results, that's why I'm looking at ARP2000. Not much point having a coolant pressure sensor without a way to control something directly. I won't be looking at the output while driving. Things for when I have a Haltech

Rubber from the engine block was the seal from the inside of the thermostat, it is the main problem of thermostat failure. The core is working fine but it loses that rubber and the thermostat remains open, it needs another full housing with thermostat including. Big job on the car.

Hello mate, i have installed factory subwoofer in my XC60, got it programmed via VDASH, so it appears in menu but actual subwoofer still dont work. it definitely worked on original car, would you be able to direct me what to look out? power is coming to subwoofer, all sound goes away when i unplug the the power from subwoofer. How do you know that subwoofer is working when you plugged it just to test it ? it doesnt make any noise, also there is no any light indicators on it to confirm it actually powered on. thanks in advance
@AngryGermanGarage8 ай бұрын
That is a strange problem to have. I believe if the 'subwoofer' option is presented in the menu that the device is detected. If it still isn't making any sound, I'd have to assume the device is faulty. Which doesn't really make sense if it was tested prior like you mentioned. There isn't any lights on the subwoofer module to verify it is functional.

How is the wiring for a car that came with this option from the factory?
@AngryGermanGarage8 ай бұрын
I haven't seen the wiring in a car that has this as a factory option, so the routing will differ from what I've done. As far as the connection points though (e.g. the point I've tapped into the fuse panel for power) will be exactly the same.
