Thank you very much for this splendid video, Anwar 😍 Beautiful film and images of the wonderful Iberian lynx, and of those many birds. You got a new subscriber from Finland 💕

Very nice images, you gained a new subscriber, I didn't know you. I have it pending for my channel. But this summer I'm going to record it. Can I know how much they charged you for the trip, or did you go on your own? Best regards👍👍👍.

You can't imagine how lucky you were with that day 1, Iberian Lynx are extremely elusive and shy, and their numbers, even though recovery has been excellent during these 40 years of efforts we've made in Spain on that front, are still tiny. Also, look into what mixomatosis did to the rabbit and hare populations and how that affected the Iberian Lynx.
@Anwaraq11 күн бұрын
Yeah we definitely got lucky for sure! And yeah I was reading about the rabbit situation...insane.
@HonzaFnoucek12 күн бұрын
That woodpecker is actually the Iberian green woodpecker, endemic to the Iberian peninsula. Some consider it subspecies of the European green woodpecker but newest studies point it to be a separate species. And what a beautiful photo you got of it. Congrats!

You were very lucky. I was in the same place a few days ago and only got a photo of the backside. As you say, the Iberian Lynx was nearly extinct. We now have about 1600 thanks to the great effort of many poeple and associations and the backing of the different governmental agencies

Wonderful sightings and footage you got there! Thanks for sharing. Though this is clearly from a finca called Peñalajo and not Sierra de Andújar National Park as you mention. I spent 3 consecutive days at Peñalajo a couple of years ago and saw no lynx at all. So you were very lucky.
