It's too bad that Joan and Lita couldn't have kept it together.

Their best phase. Spikey artrock with melodies and hooks. Went wrong when Barry left and I had another 'Gabriel' moment. Some of that later pastural stuff was so arch, word-clunky and politically naff compared to this

PP and The Only Ones wrote some fantastic songs that still sound great today. A very underrated band indeed.

These two songs are the epitome of that period, they incapsulate Roxy Music, Kraftwerk, punk, poetry, technology, musicianship, musicality, everything!! I'd risk saying they even surpassed the aforementioned acts.

Saw them play this in fall 1977 at the Sunday afternoon show at the Whiskey A Go Go in LA. May have been their first time in LA. Talked to them after. Nice guys. What's so funny is that I didn't realize what song they were playing until half way thru.

Hi friend, you have the wrong date. This one is September 29. Although their studio appearance on December 29 looks very similar (same stage set up).

That was a great tour. The Cure supporting, then Robert playing the Banshees set too. Happy memories.

An overlooked band. Bandwagon jumpers but they were fun and had some great singles.

Saw Skids on December 14th 1980 @ New Theatre in Oxford and then met Stuart Adamson some years later at The Ritz in NYC when Big Country was playing. Loved his guitar sound and Jobson's style as a front man

These guys were already pro's as punk hit........and rode that coattails all the way, such talent, musically diverse and they do it with ease, great songs from solid musicians.
