It is very simple. OCD to Fender twin reverb. That’s it. But for the recording some EQs and compressors are used at the mix stage.

It’s pretty ordinary. Comp - OD- Fuzz - Fender clean amp - a bit delay and reverb. For some shimmering I stack or put multiple reverbs in parallel.

Thanks! Long reverb/delay/ambient pedals would be crucial to sound like whirr. Big Sky is a good example but there are many other inexpensive options out there. Also consider having multiple reverbs/delays in the signal chain to get longer tails, which I did for this song. And fuzz pedals are essential part too for gain tones. Make sure to have one. I don't really care about the brands or the origin. If something sounds good, just use it.
