Its really funny watching you trying to align a rosary with christianity to begin with. We associate the rosary with the catholic church because the catholic apostolic church killed off all of the pagan religions they appropriated from. Communion, baptism, offerings through songs, the holy calendar including holidays like christmas and easter, the north star, using terms like lamb of god, are definitely older than christ himself lol.

The rosary is such a powerful tool for growing closer to our Lord and deepening our love for him. I'm Catholic so obviously I pray it the traditional way. But I'm really happy to see other Christians utilizing it and seeing benefits of it.

The Rosary is a tool to help focus our prayers, to review to life of Christ and to meditate on scripture. I am in between churches having just relocated to a new area.

I just tried to use a frankincense resin and charcoal the other night without watching this first it smoked so much my fire alarm sensor went off. I’m in a small home and I am worried now that I’m not going to be able to offer up incense I would like to. Should I try this again if so, which ones I wanted to do the frankincense and myrrh that one just came in the mail Undecided to return or try something else else I really did not want to use the sticks because I agree. Seems less special too chemically.

I have a cousin who dabbled in Eastern Hindu religions, one of her jobs was making the stick incense. It is made out of cow dung, that is emulsified in water, extruded or has sticks dipped in it, then when it has dried (and is odorless) a scent or oil is added. Not something I'd want to use during prayer. The tree resins used by Orthodox and Catholic incense makers (like my own Jewish ancestors) is a better bet for me.

I'm Orthodox, we mainly say the Jesus Prayer...a lot, but I'm not sure how having more than one intercessor is somehow the same thing as having more than one mediator, since we're commanded to intercede and seek intercession by St Paul and St James. I get that Protestants usually reject the notion of the reposed Saints praying for you, but it clearly isn't a different Gospel so much as it is a different understanding of one portion of the Gospel and it's not 100% clear which one of our confessions is correct on the matter
