It’s crazy how people can so confidently spread misinformation. This was never a real incident if you were genuinely on the internet at all you’d know this was essentially a creepy pasta with a fake “real story”. I genuinely wonder how these people don’t ever think to fact check anything

It’s a creepy pasta and that’s essentially what it stems from the creator just mashed a bunch of people faces to make a very generic face and then spread around that advert of “have you seen this man before” and of course some people are going to be like well maybe I have at some point? Plus the more you see those ads the more familiar the face gets so technically yes you have seen him before

Yes, this shows that the camera matters less and less the further we go in technology what matters more is the lens which some of the lenses that they used were close to $20,000. yes I think it’s awesome that we can just start telling clients this movie was shot on my camera. Helps with making clients feel better like using a matte box. The $80 million went more towards some of the other gear that wasn’t that expensive either and most of it went towards paying all the people that it takes to run a Production like that, and the high-quality visual effects.

Yeah but the whole rig of the camera and tools lenses etc cost a lot more than the camera body. This is kinda irrelevant. Yeah camera body is very good but everything around it is as or even more important.
