I live in another city of Mexico, but love Mexico. After 2 years living in a "tourist" area I also now live in a "non tourist" area with 95% locals and love it. I feel more connected in this area. My neighbors look after me. LOL That is a great price for being in Mexico City And Utilities included. You won with that one.

I stayed in a Navarte Airbnb my last visit to CDMX and I really liked the vibes of that area also. Your apartment is nice but I’d never get a wink of sleep right on the road like that. My Airbnb was a half block or so off of a busy road and even with my iPad noisemaker turned up full volume, I was awakened throughout the night by loud trucks, Jake brakes, and blaring music.

I hear what you’re saying! I eventually moved because of the noise.

I've been finding to get worse treatment, when I try to talk in Spanish there. Also, I can accept service being on Caribbean time, but I found service to be just downright terribly overall there. They don't check on you, they don't have friendly service, let alone thank you or say goodbye...this is all after scamming outsiders, too.

@@TapuwaWilliam A place where American resorts don’t block the beach so the locals have to got to one tiny section at the end. No influencers running around being vain clowns. A place where things aren’t an obscene mark up. Where Mexicans have businesses not just working for foreign owned conglomerates.

Thanks for the comprehensive and informative video! I'm thinking about visiting CDMX in a month or two. How would you rate its safety? I've been to places like Brazil (Northeast area) and Argentina (Buenos Aires) and haven't felt particularly unsafe, but I'm always on alert and only go out into town with my husband. How do you think we'd fare in CDMX? I'm dying to try all the delicious foods and drinks you mentioned! It looks like a fun city to explore
@TapuwaWilliam Жыл бұрын
You’ll be fine! CDMX is both safe and unsafe you just have to know which neighborhoods to avoid. I talk about that more in my “Before you go to Mexico City” video.
