In the spring of 2015 the Brown family rolled up their sleeves and got to work on building their dream…a regenerative bison ranch that they could raise their growing family on. Walking away from their careers and risking their entire life savings…unimaginable amounts of old barbed wire was ripped out, massive amounts of brush was cut, hundreds of acres of grass was planted, miles of new fence and corrals were built and after years of blood, sweat and tears the old dairy farm centered around a unique band of glacial hills near Cadott, Wisconsin was transformed into a beautiful ranch where hundreds of bison now roam.

I've been buying your Bison Sticks at a local store here in Utah the last few months. The absolute BEST jerky sticks I've ever had. I'd love to do a collaboration with you guys on my KZbin channel to get you guys some more exposure.

In 2 months we could have that white stuff here--MINNESOTA. I hate the below temps, but as you say, being around the herd can be therapeutic. Dairy girl here, and even though I never liked having to be in the barn, it was comfortable with the cows when the temps plummeted and we had a North wind. Best part, the 1:1 time with my Dad.

Why move the bison in the winter with all the snow on the grown? You feed them with roll bales of hay not like they can eat fresh grass? Are you any were near Winter Wisconsin?

Harry, we move them based on many factors, I explain some of them in the videos. One reason is we use the feeding of the herd and the foot traffic of the herd like a tool to trample brush and add organic matter and manure (fertilizer) to areas that need it around the ranch. Another reason is, when it doesnt snow all the time, the herd needs to be moved so they are on fresh clean pasture.
