back in 2002 i fit 255/17s in the rear, wasn't much clearance but it worked. was a BT1 VN V8 with FE2 suspension

Nice work mate, having it higher would of helped for sure. FE2 is a good height. everyone wants them super low now and the creates a lot of clearance issues.

@RCSMediaDivisionАй бұрын
bad camber and going low with irs just goes hand in hand. bad for your tyres but its not a good idea if its your daily driver to go really low. i have seen adjustable camber arms that replace the factory ones, might be worth looking into some of those? also if you have bags and just drive at a better height that might help too?

How do you guys handle the point where the bumper meets the fender? I have flexed some of the connection point away until the screw, but I want still some more clearance.
@RCSMediaDivisionАй бұрын
i actually forgot to film that part but i wanted to mention it. basically i unscrew it then roll that part of the bracket around. can do with roller or rubber mallet and then you can just refit screw in. then youll need to trim a tiny bit off the bumper and touch up paint on that part. otherwise it will still hit the tyre there.

Hey how’s it going I have a question 2018 model I accidentally broke the top of the little yellow drain plug next to the fuel filters and now I can’t drain the water fuel separator what do you recommend ?
@RCSMediaDivisionАй бұрын
Hey Mate, That is going to make things a bit tricker, is there anyway to get some grips onto it to undo? you will need to replace it. but i guess worst case you could replace the whole filter housing from a wreckers. to get it out if you cant get anything on it you could try drill it and tap it out like you would a bolt.
@laurentturnier1895Ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the fast reply, no it’s broken of pretty short so I can’t grip it at all but what I’m wondering is how important is it to the car because when I change my fuel filters all the water comes out and the yellow plastic drain plug screws in the same compartment as the filters so my question is do I really need to unplug the yellow drain plug if I regularly change fuel filters because I just taught the yellow plug was to take water out without having to take out the filters ? What’s your opinion ?

Another option for me to look at in May. I have two cheaper hoists in the factory im taking over. The over all make, lockouts and welds are good But china power pack and rams that almost look identical to the tuff lift set ups are the scary part ill 100% keep the back one as a car stacker but if someones coming in with a 100k car and carbon rotors for a dryice detail then a extra wide, 4t 2 post lift and and one of them wheel jacks are going to be my first two purchases
@RCSMediaDivisionАй бұрын
Iv looked over the cheaper hoists as i said, i dont think they are anywhere near close to a tufflift. but you will find like 95% of products that everything comes form china, you just need to find the good manufacturers over there instead of the shit ones. iv had to deal with that first hand. products will look the same in photos but when they arrive you think WTF is this wish product haha for you a extra wide hoist would be perfect!
