This worked perfectly for my Steam Deck OLED! Had to mess with some settings a bit, but everything copied over flawlessly. Appreciate it.

Thank you so much for this step by step. Every other video goes the sudo method and I caution that. Sudo method may not account for required system files that are in use and may not copy over. I soft locked my steam deck in emergency boot because of it. Starting over with this method was a first time success. KUDOS TO YOU!!! EDIT: I just realized I used this same video a while back to clone my old micro SD to a larger one. Worked without issues on first try.

I followed everything and then when I went to switch back to SteamOS to install clover, the option to open steamos came up, I clicked it and then it sent me to GNU Grub and continued to do that and acting like I didn't have SteamOS installed. I tried multiple ways to get back in and it would not work. I had to reimage the steam deck and I am going to start over, but if anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated. Not sure what went wrong but a lot of the links have been updated since a year ago that you posted it. I'm wondering if bloaty Nosy deleted a file I needed as there is no AI option and everything has to be selected manually.

Will this image work if my my steam deck is moded? I have a steam deck led and want to upgrade to led...my lcd has roms & emulators and I want the oled to be the same with out setting up the emulators from scratch...???

After inserting sudo password I didin't get that OS choose thing. Even worst. I had windows 10 on my SD and somehow the clover overwrite my windows

Great Tutorial! I have quick issue that I hope you or someone will be able to help with! I am trying to swap back to SteamOS so that I can complete the Clover section of the tutorial. I press and hold the Volume - and the power button to open the boot manager. I then get two options (Windows Boot Manager and SteamOS). I click on SteamOS and I get what looks to be a terminal screen that begins with "GNU GRUB Version 2.06" and then says "Minimal BASH-likw line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions". I'm not sure where to go or what to do from here, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i follow your steps until resize partition stucked. successfully resize my SSD partition, but when goes to windows installation, the partition dissapeared.

For anyone who has an issue creating the filesystem due to the partition being mounted, try writing umount /dev(whatever the partition identifier is) and trying again

After creating the partion i made it in NTFS. I then went to make a bootable sd card with windows on it. It doesnt recognise it in bios, any help? I tried MBR and NTFS and now my steam deck wont load back to steamos. Just gets stuck on steam logo forever.
