One thing that really makes me laugh about watching videos about Vilcabamba is that most of expats go there to be healthy and have a healthy life style, and they think by doing Yoga and drinking fruit juices, “meditating” they are working towards that Magic living!! When if fact they just need TO LIVE AND ADAPT TO THE LIFE OF THE LOCALS!!! Local People in Vilcabamba DON’T DO any of that Yoga, meditation etc because they don’t need any of that as they are naturally chill in contact , and harmony with nature. All this people moving to be Vilcabamba for the wrong reasons changing or trying to change their life style. People don’t change, a monkey will still a monkey even when dressed up in silk.

Vilcabamba es un lugar hermoso, esta bien que vaya todo el que pueda, pero que no se quede. Los precios de casas y tierras estan muy altos lo que hace que los propios no puedan vivir allí y poco a poco se va llenando de extranjeros que pueden comprar, de se seguir así se llenará de gente y, eso ahuyentará la flora y fauna del lugar.
