i just got into fishing this year. Genuine question... how do you guys always know what fish it is before you can see it? Especially if its a smallmouth vs largemouth bass

When you get more experience with your catches you’ll be able to pick up on differences with how different fish fight! Usually smallmouth fight harder than a largemouth
