This dog is so beautiful and his fur is shiny❤ It's a dream to have such a puppy. These are dogs that require socialization, training and a sufficiently large space to run. I can only dream of such a thing🐕🤗. It's nice to see you taking care of them. Best regards and I wish you success🏆🐾👣❤️

Some of our very best owners are FIRST time dog owners. It is all about the personality of the person- if they serious and responsible about other things in their lifes they make a responsible dog owners no matter the breed. This why we do serious evaluations of the people who we place our dogs with and been blessed with amazing owners ( as well tons of upset people who receive a NO answer🤷🏽♀️)

I can't believe people still mutilate their dogs' ears for looks 😔... I love these majestic dogs, but I prefer to leave them as they come into this world. I'm sure you are all lovely people and take amazing care of your four-legged friends, I do not doubt your love for them at all...all I ask is leave their ears along, unless there is an extremely understandable reason for the percidure. We do not cut dogs' ears off in my country. It is totally illegal to crop and dock a dog in New Zealand, under the animal rights act..people that crop their dogs here go to prison for animal cruelty...so excuse me for the shock reaction, no disrespect intended 🇳🇿

Hi Lisa! Thank you for watching and for your POLITE comment! One of my best friends is a cane corso breeder in NZ - Nakoa Cane Corso:) Do they put people in jail in NZ for spaying and neutering dogs also? Because they should, otherwise it is body parts discrimination

Hi, no, we don't get in trouble for spading etc... but I agree with you on that... I would never get my boy or girl fixed unless it was for health issues...cool you have a friend in NZ that breeds...such beautiful dogs you breed, and you put so much love and care into your 4 legged friends...much respect to you for the care and love you put into these majestic dogs 💖🇳🇿🇺🇸

Thank you! Happy to hear that you wont alter your dog unless there is medical reason! Ill be honest with you i can see both sides about cropping and docking and ill be honest with you until there will be a law in USA against it - we wont stop. For 2 reasons, keeping the tradition going but as well the reason for that tradition- if there only one companion dog kept there is no issues with natural ears and tails but pack of dog- just playing they tear each other ears and it can get super bad - those hematomas are painful and hard to heal. Over the years we have dealt with many clients who have one or more natural eared dogs in pack of dogs and they often get hurt. We dont breed couch potatoes, our dogs are active. As well we like them live in the pack and not to separate and spend life separated in kennels- we let them roll and enjoy. Puppies before cropping are cruel to each other pulling by those ears often result is crying and scars. I have no problem with one dog being natural but several power breeds together its an issue

Thanks so much for explaining why the ears get cropped, I will go with tearing of ears as that's understandable. Not so much tradition for me. But I really feel your good vibes, and I will always love these dogs, cropped or not, as you have in lighted me on the tearing. Much happiness and love from another Kiwi admirer 💖🇳🇿🇺🇸

Cane Corso and Doberman have totally different cuts. Our ears pinned together for 2-3 days after the crop only and than they stand alone. Cane Corso crop is short with much more base left than a Doberman. Doberman usually months of taping and training the ears to stand and there is tons of videos on KZbin how to:)

Cane corsos get their ears cropped for a reason. Owners are not in the business of mutilating them, that’s ridiculous. Please read about the breed, it’s done for their own protection.

@@martincutler5191You think of these dogs as pets but dogs are not raised to be indoors and be a mascot for families. Through centuries they were used to aid farmers, fishermen and people that work the land. Cane corsos have floppy ears and this has been used against them in fights. In addition because they are very playful when puppies their floppy ears would get caught in fences and other places. You don’t have to do it to your own , but please don’t judge what you don’t know.

Lady we knew got a rescue.AkitA had a trained GS XRottie .then used to take both of them to supermarket to sit on bench outside doors to do socialise the Akita.to see all the different people and noises ,it worked .the other dog gave an example of.acceptable.behaviour.in odd situation ..poor old dog was around ten at time he .made it to 14yrs

He was just learning there- picked it up pretty quickly. Today he almost year old and very consistent with alert moves. Just moved to live with his owner, after year of training and we very proud of him - he does everything right and than some

Ok you win 🤣🤣 and dont trai at home only is good advice... introduced my guy to a leash today outside. He hated in the house but u though u would try outside anyway. He took to it and would come if i was lowered myself and said come. By evening he was better. Use a little leash pressure and just have him time to respond because if i pulled he would pull back. My question is you are teaching his name in the heel position, will that not lead to confusuion later. Is it kibble you are feeding in the video? Going to try this

Awesome! Kudos to you! What kind of conflict you referring to? What im doing is teaching response to the name and at the same time, because it is on the move - reinforcing the heel position. Note i dont stop to give reward - all happen while im moving and when im moving i want the dog beside me. Yes, i use kibble - always have something of higher value on me to jackpot really good responses at harder situations as well

Think about that - and if your dog learns responding to his name and already move towards you to get in heel position- half way there! You can always say ( and for pet obedience, not sports) Rocky Heel! Name and than command to follow. *some sports not allow name calling thats why i mentioned not for sports. In general, basic companion obedience, i teach my clients to call the name, GET THE RESPONSE (eye contact) than deliver a cue or command. There is many variations of what you want to teach tho, each to their own

My son has a cane Corso mix, female. She is so loving . He treats her like a human. He sleeps with her. She lived with me. Every person she gets to know is a friend to her. Very lovable.
