I have a signed original portion of this painting. That my son's grandmother gave him. I believe there is a story behind it. Also, why is it just a portion of the finished one? It is almost as if it was one from the earlier stages of the completed one by the artist. I'd like to know if someone who knows?

great momentum to present After The Hammer so shortly after The Hammer... and to summarise, in the closing titles, whether the predictions of your recent panel of experts had turned out correctly... or fallen short. I like Alex Rotter thinking through the new 20--21 category and whether it needs to be reexamined... and Dominique Levy's twist of caution or scepticism is a good balancer. But the Art Market, as we watch it and love it, has returned with the success of the recent auctions. And it is accompanied by a good result for Josh Baer and his new interview service. I look forward to The Hammer's next occasion.

Congratulations Josh Baer... it's a great launch to a promising new series of art market conversations: easily accessible, just the right length and momentum to maintain my fickle attention (8 contributors in 25 minutes) and, as I would expect from you, proper journalism: dispensing with niceties and putting your panel on the spot for their observations and predictions of specific works of art. Whose judgement will turn out to be correct? I shall be tuning into your panel on 10 July to find out. And please continue to watch "Fair Warning" on our behalf. That's a really intriguing and novel development and I wish it success.
