Lead can absolutely be absorbed through the skin, you dense block of wood. A simple Google search would have told you that with dozens of high quality sources! Don't put out unsafe information just because you think it's true.

I have the Harvey T-40 and it’s a beast! It has a servo motor so I can turn from 6 to +2000 and there is no slowdown. It just turns at a contact speed. Love this thing.

I hate apple products for sterners secondly I'm not saying this isn't dope but what's really gonna suck is down the road when it has to be fixed and taken apart you're going to have to rip out all of the stitching

interesting when showing the back side that you can see the imprint of the lines from the 3d printed form. perhaps sanding the 3d printed parts before forming the leather would be a good idea for the next time.

Taking a guess as to why it does not agree with you, for me its the plywood. As an art piece it does not *need* to be functional but Its fun when a piece toys with suspension of disbelief. Since wooden table ware can be made and used and I can't help but think about resins and plies. If this had been done in something like a really curled maple I think it would be pretty neat when finished and seeing the grain and knowing it *technically* could be popped out and used. I would take it a step further and add some brass fittings or leather straps to the mug, pilot holes for those fittings or whatever, practical or otherwise that would be made to hold it together for its "use".

do you find you can't use kiln dried for this? I have been wanting to make another Kayak and bend the coeming and ribs but I have no idea where to get wood that will bend well.
