My best guess is drakes are the link between ancient dragons and modern dragons. Ancient dragons are the og big daddies who wield lightning. Fortisaxx lanseaxx etc. Modern dragons lose the lightning abilities and resemble their environment. Adula, borealis, etc. The drakes still retain some basic lightning abilities but are have 2 legs and their wings work as wings and arms. Where as ancienct dragons have actual working hands with opposable thumbs and often 2 sets of wings

Shadow of the Erdtree and Elden Ring as a whole was my favorite soulsbourne experience. Elden ring got me to try out all the other games, but truly after coming back and playing all the games with more experience. Elden Ring just holds such a special place in my heart. Miquella was one of my favorite characters due to the mystery behind him, and having it unfold the way it did to the final boss surprise at the end was just golden. I also love how the St Trina part could go completely missed if you go main line and never find that area or do throlliers quest line. Really sells the mystery, but also the truth behind miquella giving up his heart, his love, and his other half, showing he truly fell into darkness

The DLC actually is supposed to take place prior to becoming Elden lord, at least it seems like that from my perspective. Since the core required bosses are just radahn and mohg. Plus they don’t seem to recognize you as Elden lord at any point, but only as tarnished and as a potential lord. 2:03:47

Certainly makes me feel better about myself when Aggy, parky and other players struggle on bosses the first try too. Rellana was so freakin difficult and so are the Dancing Lions. And of course the final boss is still a pain. It’s the only boss I haven’t beaten in the whole dang game.

I think theres a lot of bugs in elden ring rn. I summoned someone and they got killed by the giant hand in the sewer - which doesnt appear once you do dung eater questline.

They would have still taken some damage on each “nihil” that Mohg says even if they used the purifying crystal tear. It doesn’t negate all damage from the “nihil attack.” It just drastically reduces most of it.

Yeah this is a bug in the Mohg fight when summoning other players. Over 100 players summoned me to fight Mohg right before the DLC came out and this lack of damage happened pretty frequently.
