I was lucky enuf to witness the first version of Mau5 in 🇲🇾 then couple of years later he was with FMFA 2013 which I'm kinda insure due the event being held right in of my house...3days of festival but sadly day 3 got cancelled due multiple drug over dose cases on day 1 & day 2 but victims was those who enjoyed the good music while there was a massive haze during the time of 3day event...me n my fam always stayed hydrated as much as possible to keep on going...while after the event we continued back at my place with house party (small crowd) but it was massive for sure...those were the days...thank you for the most deep dark set I would've experienced live by the man himself "his words"(Malaysia you guys are crazy) 🔥 ⚡ ✌ 🙏 ❤

This set and his 08 Ultra set (red & blue mau5!!) were my introduction to Joel Zimmerman...I had all this freetime as I went unemployed that year when the economy hit bad times...specially for construction which is where I fall...In all this free time I had I started getting depressed being unable to find work and unemployment wasn't cutting it...what I did find, was Joel/Deadmau5...was listening to music at random and this particular set came up...the mau5head with that big smile and those infectious sounds thumping thru the speakers put a big smile on my face and led me to searching out moar mau5!!! I credit Joel with helping me thru 1 of the toughest periods of my life and have been a mega fan ever since...2024 on a revisit to this set and my love for the mau5 is stronger than ever!!! RIP Meowingtons 🙏
