An advice from experience, never believe service staff on Torque Convertor transmission oil change interval (ATF). They will always says lifetime fluid, no need to change until 1 lac. Trust me OEM AISIN, ZF themself recommend every 30k. So always follow ATF oil change every 30-40k. Service staff will say it is only for DSG.

I never faced these issues in Baleno cvt.. all the best to all headlong people who think going to these VW and Škoda cars are safe and reliable

I will tell you why Indians do not buy Volkswagen and Škoda cars. For structure and safety we can go for Tata harrier or Xuv 700, for diesel I can got to Hyundai, Kia, MG, Jeep. For reliability and hybrids I can go to Toyota, Honda and Suzuki. For EV we can go to Tata, MG and BYD. Volkswagen and Škoda has no diesel, hybrid and EV. Not a wide range of cars each brand has 3 cars they need to explore. Neither futuristic nor budget friendly. Some people like to buy because they have some trust on German cars. Every car brand has flop cars like jimny, yaris, Tucson, Morazzo it doesn’t mean they have to leave the country.

Always park first on Neutral position > pull handbrake > then shift to P mode. If you directly park in P the gear load is engaged on to the shifter Pin. Which may get damaged over time.

Very beautiful car. I am using Skoda Rapid since 2015. Never felt selling it off ! Still thrilling and very much enjoyable driving. Especially for long drive.

Just now bought Kushaq monte carlo.....anyone who is talking bad about skoda cars has to once drive it to experience the feeling especially after the turbo kick in....guys just drive it once and then criticise it.... previously i had ecosport and kushaq exceeds my driving pleasure expectations from ecosport.....

AC cooling is not at par with its competitors.It is the biggest drawback because people are spending huge amount of money on this car and AC cooling is the basic necessity especially in the northern region where temperature goes upto 50 in summer.

Maruti hyundai are selling some of their unsafe cars on the behalf of youtubers, youtubers are misguiding Indians on safety

VW lack in service network Hyundai also increased their service network and their sales were increased. Maruti lack in safety still they are selling,one touch window feature Don't matter only way to increase Sales is to improve service network

We are still in the 2nd year since they hsve announced service packages but what happens post that nobody knows, will the parts and service cost empty our wallets? 2. They say its over engineered for India, really? - AC cooling doesnt work - Squeaking sounds from the breaks and the interiors - Unreliable gearbox and turbo engines which heats up in hot climates - Engine light comming on - Expensive engine oil top up after every 3000 kms After paying all that premium for a over engineered car? lol 3. No road side mechanics are experienced enough to carry out tasks on such a well engineered car if someone chooses to repair it outside the SVC 4. All the of the above results in poor or no resale value when you want to eventually sell it. A smart tieup should help them solve all these worries. For example: Its really great to see brands like Triumph tying up with Bajaj, look at their Triumph street 400, it just oozes TRIUMPH with top notch quality and no mention of bajaj on the bike.. Its selling like hot cakes with that competitive pricing.
