I love this version of the song. Was it live? Is there a recording of this version? Beautiful, creative dancing. Watched many times over the years.

Found it! It's the 'Abbey Road' version. Much more intimate and improvised. Perfect for your beautiful dance.

@@clottajak I watched a few other performances of you and with other partners too to get wider view and to me you dance steps but without feeling the music. I cannot know what is in your soul while you dance but outside to me isn't look amazingly. Sometimes you see people perform and sometimes you see people in connection to each other and inside the music like nothing else is matter at that moment. I like this second option on dance floor. So here I didn't see this. That is my private opinion without and objection to you.

fragles131 again thanks for your words. The video is very old and I was a beginner in tango. I am not worry anymore about the things I didn’t do or showed. We were great together and one of the first couples in what later became a tango movement. That was my rol at that time, to try new things about technique, dynamics and new movements. Now as get older and more experienced in life I only look for feelings, I am now beyond technique and just steps.

Hi Craig, Thanks a lot for your messages. It is a honor. I will add your name to the title of this video. I do speak spanish, neither italian.

Hi John and Claudia, My name is Craig Einhorn. Thanks for using my version of Milonga del Ayer for your presentation. On itunes and amazon.com it is listed as "Milonguea del Ayer". You may find it surprising that I play all the instruments on the recording. The guiro is from Senegal and is made of metal giving it that perfect scraping sound. You might like to put my name under Milonga del Ayer in the beginning of the video. Hablo español pero no Italiano. Un fuerte abrazo, Craig Einhorn

Hi John and Claudia, Thanks for using my "Milonga del Ayer" to dance to. The mp3 is available on itunes or cdbaby.com. It may have the title spelled wrong though, like this, "Milonguea del Ayer". Craig Einhorn

Is it me or was Chicho back then very much mocking Pablo Veron? The stepping, flamenco heels, some head movements and rythmic sequences, the left hand...

Wow, this looks SO vintage, especially in B&W! 1998 seems like neotango prehistory. Chicho was almost thin and this palm-down left hand of his was soo weird... This is quite an archive.
