Also your ethics and morals as a dancer are really suspect. You just posted on Instagram thirst clout for that poor Iranian woman who was killed in police custody, but the way you presented an email from a supporter in “Iran“ which only calls you out for how virtuous you are for standing with Iranian women. That post highlighted how “difficult was “for the poster to contact you and applaud you and thank you for standing with Iranian women. And you blurred out the persons name it could’ve been a fake account that you created in order to do that. If the poster who said she had no Internet thereby cannot email. I have friends who are in southern Iran and the only method of communication that they have in the country right now is by phone. Internet is 100% shut down. Or unless newsfeeds are getting out through the press. You failed to imply that if this woman had not Internet she would not be able to email. The email was to applaud you and how righteous you were for standing with Iranian women we all stand with Iranian women we don’t need to scream it and misappropriate the situation in order to gain clout for you. by your posting draws clout to your woke self without anyone questioning how legitimate this post actually is.

Additionally you keep posting videos of yourself playing Zagat with hany Morgan. The clout you were trying to promote. On yourself is ridiculous. I’d be more impressed as someone with 45 years worth of dance experience to see you actually play Zill and dance with them. Not sit and play them there’s a huge difference. You may have really good rhythm sitting down but can you replicate that standing up I doubt it.

This is soo good Melissa! The best representation of the golden era I’ve seen
@GrumpyKitten3752 жыл бұрын
Melissa..there is a huge difference between knowing how to, and actually performing golden era raqs sharqi and your (and others) just mimicking a golden era film performance that a well known dancer was performing moves at the direction of a film producer. These presentations you (and other golden era ‘ performers “) are not even comparable in terms of context, vocabulary or relevancy to promote as true golden era raqs sharqi. You can promote a nice replicated film performance and atmosphere with your golden era film. but they are just copies of film 'dances' that in their proper historical context, are not golden era raqs sharqi. The producer certainly was no expert in dancing and there’s only two minutes on screen time. It is very well researched that many of these dancers were told to perform exactly what the producer wanted, not what Raqs sharqui is. You need to be honest and factual with these works. You’re promoting a false narrative that this is true “Golden Era “.

She dances in a harmonious way between dance movements and music. In some moments, her dancing body sings the song as if she is singing. It is similar to Suhair Zaki in that she sings with her dance and resembles Tahia Karioka in her wonderful dance in the narrowest areas in a wonderful way

You dance in a professional way, where you know when your body dances smoothly and when your body dances in a fast way, in harmony with the rhythm of the authentic oriental music. You are an oriental dancer from the time of the authentic oriental dance

Very good performance Melissa. Nice,simple,elegant style.
Enjoyed your performance RAQS SHARQ Drums slowly begin their synchronized beat Rhythm fills breathless anticipation; Silken cloud enters to bloom then retreat Lithe form subtle, hidden, builds our elation. The dancer weaving in slow gyration Teasing from her ether of swirling veil Then to explode in vibrant variation Stunning motion, pleasure, for our avail The dancer in a momentum of joy Swaying hips sinuous and sensuous She of beguiling body does employ, Her all, in spirit so adventurous. Both of veil and flesh this dancer our dream Her grace and beauty to forge our esteem.
