If i use these settings with my 2x12 v30s im gonna die cuz its so loud, maybe im not used to it but i run it at a quarter volume at most (buying an attentuator soon).

Boss sd1 is the best pedal in front😊 of a marshall 🎉not for.adding gain or more distortion but for a lil more saturation to get it liquid under the fingers
@metalsound8738 Жыл бұрын
True story, sd1 or tubescreamer.
@bigsauce11165 ай бұрын
Yep and also throwing a 10 band eq in the fx loop will blow your socks off i promise
@kopan14 Жыл бұрын
nice demo, I set it at high output (full 15W) with the CaptorX as attenuator, this little amp is hell loud with tons of gain
@markolivares6943 Жыл бұрын
In my opinion no amp needs a tube screamer. They just thin out your tone and bottom end. Sure you can just dial in what you are missing but it’s not the same. Non boosted all the way 🤟🏽
@singleproppilot Жыл бұрын
Thinning out the sound is a desired effect. Too much bottom on a heavily distorted guitar sounds terrible.
@wolekfff Жыл бұрын
In particular, I tried to show that the DSL can sound at very low volume :) It has a lot of gain in itself and without the boost it also sounds very nice, but with the volume limited to a minimum where you can hear even the guitar strings the boost helps a lot. Anyway, thanks for the comment, Everyone spins the potentiometers in their own way on the amplifier and adds effects and what one will like very much, another will say: no, poop 😉
@Guitaristry83087 Жыл бұрын
That's why I like to boost with an EQ pedal! That way, I can dial in the frequencies the way I want. I find overdrive pedals to be a bit too limited when used as a boost. Just my opinion, of course.
@endezeichengrimm Жыл бұрын
I agree. The screamer just mucks up the tone of the amp.
@endezeichengrimm Жыл бұрын
It will sound very different without the tube screamer.

A Marshall and a Tube Screamer are a match made in metal heaven.

@@singleproppilot But that doesn't show what the amp sounds like. Adding a screamer is a false representation.

@@endezeichengrimm It's not a false representation if he's literally included that info in the video's subheading

@@darthgibsonlp6631 You can't judge the amp that way. It will sound very different without the pedal.

@@darthgibsonlp6631 he did include it but it would be cool to hear the amp on its own.

Sounds sick man! How is it in person? I see the stealth 50 under it, would you say it has a similar amount of fullness / punch to your stealth?
@wolekfff2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! EVH is little faster in the low end and yes, he has more punch/fullness 😉 Another advantage is Stealth not need a loop attenuator (JHS Little Black Amp) to be able to play quietly in a tenement house. Despite all this, DSL is a great amp. Damn good for the money. I hope that I will be able to play loud on it in the near future 😁 Just a note, Marshall is extremely loud, without a JHS it is completely unsuitable for playing in an apartment. Cheers bro! 🤘

nice man that sounds awesome i like throwing an boss eq on my 5150 and the 5150 overdrive it cleans it up nice im tryna get some evh 5150 2x12 speakers. i have an old peavey cabinet its super muddy. hoping the evh speakers will clean it up nice. the clean channel in this amp is incedible
@wolekfff4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! :) I recommend connecting the noise gate Boss NS-2 with the four-cable method. It works great with the 5150. The amplifier becomes more readable, selective in the lower band and, of course, less hum. My friend has 212 EVH speakers. In my opinion, the 5150 sounds better from the Mesa speaker.
@paigeguitarplayer4 жыл бұрын
Łukasz Wołowski yeah mesa speakers are good i played an evh 5150 3 through a mesa 4x12 it sounded great but the 4x12 is too big for my playing space. hmm really? i havent ever heard evh speakers in person. but theres the el-34 the stealth speakers and the white fender evh so which is one is best for the peavey 5150?
@wolekfff4 жыл бұрын
@@paigeguitarplayer If you can, you must play the EVH 2x12. It's great like Mesa, but it sounds different. Everyone likes something else. Mesa suits me better because I like her punch and metal sound. Nevertheless, it is worth considering the EVH, because the quality of workmanship and sound do not differ from Mesa. Plus, it's much cheaper than the Mesa.

Łukasz Wołowski for sure eddie wont slap his name on a piece of shit product. if he dont like it he’ll make his engineers get it right. i dont like mxr. they make awesome tones and settings in there pedals but they tend to break so easily ive broken 2 flanger pedals and one phase 90. i have the 5150 overdrive and it has done well

Jedyny mankament to wyjście słuchawkowe bez emulacji. Pozdrawiam :)

Pozdro!
