Ashkeebs have a few on sale. I just bought a B-stock black, with hot-swap PCB and FR4 plate, all-in for $162+shipping. Given that price, would you change your opinion on recommendation? They still have some solder PCB's on sale too if you still wanted to try one out

Funny thing, my original G10 scales came off really easily, but the liners didn't want to budge. That's ok, because I didn't want to deal with removing the blade anyway.

Taking out the earbuds out of the case is my biggest gripe. I bought some JL Audio earbuds and had the same problem. These cases are designed poorly. Other than that, it's a great pair of earbuds.

Not surprised to be boiling when you do the dipping just a simmer
@avgsgn
@avgsgn 22 күн бұрын
I found that having it at a light simmer isn’t as effective as when it’s slightly hotter, more of a rolling boil where there is constant movement in the water. Sometimes adding some salt helps but that depends on material.

Cheers bro. Just used this vid to put carbon scales on my para 3. When putting back together it was easier to clip the lanyard in and then spin the top liner around, lol. Where did you get the belt clip, it looks sick.

That says a lot - thank you for the vote of confidence! I took a HUGE risk doing this so I gotta be honest and say that personally I’m not 100% confident I could replicate this again. Perhaps if I had access to maybe a drill press? I would be happy to try, haha!
@izzulaizad169
@izzulaizad169 Ай бұрын
@@avgsgn that’s understandable, especially with a really nice keyboard like that. I have plans to test this out by buying a really cheap keyboard to try it on. Just curious, what’s the hardest part about the process?
@avgsgn
@avgsgn Ай бұрын
@@izzulaizad169 Yes please do! Try it out with a cheap keyboard. I did it with the Uni660 because I really wanted to like it, given how much I paid for it. There are 2 hardest parts in my opinion: The first would be getting the alignment perfectly when drilling out slots for the magnets. The second would be to make sure the magnets sit flush along their respective surfaces, yet with enough adhesive to ensure the magnets don't pop out of their slots. I've had mine pop out a number of times so I had to re-glue them down. And if I may, the advice I'd offer you is: "Measure 10 times, cut once" and really, really take things slow. Don't rush it. If you have a drill press, I'm sure it'll make things WAY easier. Hope this helps.

Why use objects that only you are familiar as comparison? Youre whole size comparison bit is useless. Imagine creating a review for a mouse without showing customization with the software. NotLikeThis
@avgsgn

I used objects that my subscribers and those who’ve been following me for awhile are familiar with. This was over 2 years ago - so you’re right, on hindsight, there really is a lot that I need to improve on, especially in terms of tech peripheral. In recent times, at least, I’d like to believe that I’ve improved in terms of my reviews, and also especially in showing customization with the software. I can’t go back to change what I’ve put out in the past, but I’m thankful for your honesty and openness - I’m always seeking to improve.

Good God, I need to know the other qualities besides the specific switch that can give me that sound. What tapes or foams do I need? Do you think long pole switches would help or hinder this endgame sound? What switch case material? What keycap material and profile?

I haven’t tried korean local instant noodles. For context, we have korean branded instant noodles here in Singapore but i’m sure there are WAY MORE in Korea - hopefully I’ll be able to visit some day. For this brand, it really tastes like taiwanese street food beef noodles.

Congrats on surpassing 8K, you deserve it and way more. Stinks your original file got corrupted, but as you mentioned, you had time to organize your thoughts, making lemons bro, haha. The sliding side zoom in and out was awesome and made this way more useful than other videos I've seen that are taken from that angle that just don't get the focus and camera to work properly. This is a well thought out board with sound profile, aesthetics, versatility, and innovation, so much going for it for eighty nine bucks. Love the lcd, so cool, and I dig the purple one I saw on their site using your link. Thank you for sharing in this slice.

Nice cable! And nice sound profile of board. But all other stuff like screens, exploded layout is not my type. 😅 As for the filming style you can try position mic on horizontal so that it will bother you less I guess. I was worried that you will not show small details but you zoomed in so that was nice.
@avgsgn
@avgsgn 2 ай бұрын
I felt that having the zoomed in details added on the side would help better illustrate my points - so thank you for the affirmation! Thank you also for the suggrestion about the mic position, I must say that I did not consider a horizontal position. I’ll keep that in mind! And lastly, I understand that for many, screens are just not a thing. I myself am not really a huge fan, it’s just a “coolness factor” thing.
