Showed me how this saws adjustment is done. Tool less and seems easy to get to. It is a bit too fast. For those who like to complain shut off the sound and slow down the playback.

My only concern is how long until the impeller is worn out? All the debris goes through it, a pre collector would stop that so I am considering it.

This a post to a very old video and if anybody sees it and reads my comments do not do what they are showing in the videos, WD-40 is the worst thing to spray in the pulleys it will coat and cause the belt to stretch, you can see the belt dust inside the compartment that is because the pulleys are not machined to high quality and have sharp point all over them that cause the belt to fray. The oil will mix with the belt dust and make a sludge that severely interferes with the opening and closing of the pulley systems. I have taken mine completely apart and became very familiar with every part inside the lathe. I got all new pulleys under warranty and they were not high quality to say the least I polished the outside to remove sharp spots then even the inside of the pulley shaft hole so they would smoothly move on the shafts without and lube at all. To me it is worth breaking it down once a month cleaning everything off then apply a thin coat of high quality synthetic grease all around the shaft under the pulleys that open and close. And that inset female grease zerk on the motor shaft is worthless even if you can actual figure out a how to get grease through it it will only be on one side off the key or one side of the shaft

If you rotate around the Z axis (vertical), as shown, then you should rotate 90 degrees. Two rhombus match at 0 and 180 degrees, but not at 90 and 270 degrees If you rotate around X or Y axis, then 180 degrees is OK

This video is only halfway done. You notice how they don't cover the insulation of the new bag? Getting the new bag in is an extremely difficult process that they have not thought through completely. This is a very disappointing video. It's also almost a lie.

If you need a new variable speed pulley, Speed Selector makes pulleys that replace the Reeves, Hi-Lo, TB Woods and Lovejoy pulleys that went out of business or got bought. Most are in stock or Speed Selector will custom make if needed. They have an actual engineering department; very helpful.
