When I need to do the stock market swindle, I usually just open an entirely new door to the outside that leads to a control room with only the stock market machine in it, let the guys come in , see the swindle, and leave, insuring that they see nothing else in the base. Once that's done, I just erase that room and make something else with that reclaimed space.

As for those traps that the soldiers keep shooting the motion sensors of...just make a Freak motion sensor trap activator away from the nothing room that the soldiers can't disable, then let them come in and get ruined. You can make a very easy Freak sensor room without trying to herd the Freak like a drugged pig: you build a two room area . One room for the BioTank and one room with the motion sensors for the Freak to set off, and herd the Freak into the room by making the sensor room a one star door room, and the exit from the BioTank room a three star door, so the freak can't leave. Once the freak is in the sensor room, lock him in and open the BioDoor room so more Freaks can be made. After that, wire the traps up to the sensors and let the soldiers walk in and get blown into the traps. Done and done.

I know the video is 7 years old and that you could have potentially (Eventually) figured it out, but the reason you didn't get the bug is probably because you have the newer version disc for the game. Version 1.1 has the bug fixed and you could tell if you look at the Disc itself. The ESRB icon is not transparent and you can't see through the disc foil it. The easiest way to tell is to try to revive a monster from the monster rancher 3 disc itself. The 1.0 version, the bugged one, will say "Do you wish to revive a monster from" - "The Monster Rancher3 Disc?" where there is no space between Rancher and 3" The bug free version will correctly say "Do you wish to revive a monster from" - "The Monster Rancher 3 Disc?" In any case, that bug must have terrorized a ton of people since it shows up after several hours of gameplay. Maybe they will remake this game in this future since it is my least favorite monster rancher game, still decent enough though.

The nothing room really feels like a death trap compared to traps in the second game, they work but I wish they worked better

Katerina is not exhibiting a bug, but a feature apparently. Her ability makes her invincible to endurance damage until she shoots her target. Reading it, she seems kind of scary for whoever plays aggressive.

Changing the file name to the CRC does nothing apparently, because the emulator cant find the right file and attempts to create a new one under the SLUS or whatever. The Mariana mamba spider reminds me of this artwork of her, jet chan, and katerina as evil geniuses They had good reasons and make sense, don’t know if dirk masters survives being a freak, but essentially Mariana wants the world to love her since she’s still a super agent for her looks, jet Chan wants revenge because when you lose once suddenly everyone wants a fight except he gets locked away for a decade, and Katerina goes insane and Mr snuggles is reconstituted but she stays insane about it anyway

I'm pretty sure that the game only allows two super agents on the island(s) at a time. Seeing Mariana transform in a spider blob was ... interesting. I'm pretty sure that having Katerina be invincible is a bug, since I've battered her into perogi slop in the vanilla game, and dragged her over to watch me turn Mr. Snuggles into tattered garbage. Katerina is hell on socials, since they'll swarm her and she'll kill them all from a distance; she's in love with treating humans like disposable targets. I'm pretty sure she's a sociopath. Of course, she'd make an excellent Evil Genius to go up against.

As soon as you start a mission, you can schedule your minions to return and they will automatically come back once they succeed. That way you dont have to pay attention to the world map.

I used to used the tutorial 'cheat' not make money, but send 1 to each other and plot overnight, i just felt like it sped up a lot of the waiting in the later game.
