It's still worth it in my opinion in 2024 for the price. I owned a charge 3 for many years until it started sounding crappy and have owned a charge 5 the past year...... But if I could go back in time I would have saved my $130 and just bought a Turtlebox instead. The charge 5 is on the shelf now mainly but still gets some use at times. The Turtlebox is an all around better speaker, better sound, louder(120 decibels), completely waterproof, and has a longer battery at 25 hours per charge! It's loud enough to hear over my 90 HP outboard motor and the charge 5 is not. You get what you pay for. Cool review brother. I enjoyed it. 🔊😎

The answer is a resounding yes. I have the Charge 5 and it is a absolute powerhouse of sound and its battery life is excellent. You can pay more for a speaker but you don't have to because the Charge5 is a solid five star product period.

I got one in green not camo but army green.. love it. Recently i updated its firmware through the jbl app. After update the speaker will stay off for a while 2-3 mints (without responding) for the update to take place before switching on.

i like a very bassy speaker and i wanted to buy the jbl charge 5 but i might regret it since im so used to how wide sounding the wonderboom 2 is. i cant really choose whether ill buy the new wonderboom 3 (its retuned to have more bass and a lil warmer than 2, or jbl charge 5 just for the bass

For sound quality I would check out Flossy Carter youtube channel he does honest reviews on sound quality. I have a charge 5 and it's definitely worth it.

4 hours full volume, 12.5 hours without bsssboost and without lights, 8 hours with bass boost and lights on 50% volume. All youtubers who claim 18 hours are liers. 5 other friends of mine have the 310 as well, they all confirm 4 hours max full volume.

I bought the blue charge 5 a month ago after purchasing the flip 6, i totally love my charge 5 sounds so gd for the size my friends like it too 🤔 gota keep an eye on my charge 5 around around them 😂 its totally worth it even better if u catch it on sale like i did for US$130...btw i enjoyed ur high quality review, nice background, video and audio...keep it up u definitely should have way more subs with ur quality of content, i jus subscribed 😎

I like the CHARGE 5. I own 2 of them. With that being said, right now on Amazon, the Bogasing G4 is priced at around $50.00. I was curious, so I purchased one. They sound pretty good for the price, up to around 50-60% volume, just like the charge 5. So I decided to purchase another to pair together in TWS. It sounds really good paired together, sounding like a much larger speaker. Would I purchase one over a CHARGE 5? No, but I’d definitely take 2 of them for less money than 1 CHARGE 5. They’re IPX7 rated, have a power rating of 50 watts each, with a 24HR battery life, & are completely coated with a silicone or rubber type material. It also has a metal ring on one end to attach to a caribiner. It also comes with a type c to type a charging cable & aux cable. For the money spent, this little speaker is tough to beat. Give it a shot.
